We spend two night at this bed & breakfast. The room was really spacies and the bed was good, there was enough storage for the clothes. Even the safe was included in the room. However our room was located directly next to the kitchen, therefore we were the first people that woke up when the preparations for the breakfast started. The staff is really friendly and we even could store our luggage after we checked out, so that we didn't have to put the bags in the back of the car while we were driving through cape town. Tip: don't leave anything in your car, not even your phone charger.

Fabulous little hotel nestled in the suburbs of Cape Town, a 45 minute walk along the promenade into town or a 70R taxi ride. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and decorated in a quirky but tasteful manner. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The upstairs lounge in the main building was an excellent communal space with an open fire and floor to ceiling Windows giving you excellent views. I would definitely stay here again!

It is important to mention in which house you are since they offer different appartments/ guesthouses. We are in 6 Barkly Road. Here, the appartment is in a very good shape, high rooms, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen plus living room. Everything very clean, beds are good, no noice at all. Just across the small street without traffic is the breakfast room and a roof top area with ocean view.
Breakfast was really good: fresh fruits, yogurt, bred, coffee, eggs etc. Samual L Jackson and Clint Eastwood stayd here as well.
Overall: we would come here again.

Nicely located, perfectly designed and verry clean. The service provided by the staff was also verry fine. They serve a complete breakfast and in the morning and eventing when its a bit cold, they have the fire place burning! It felt like home for the days we spent in Sweet Ocean View.

We loved our stay at Sweet Ocean View Guest House. I've been Booking this guest House for one of my bosses for quite a few years now and so there was no doubt that I would stay there as well on my trip to Cape Town. And I will definitely return on my next trip :-)
