Stayed 2 nights to explore the area and it ticked all the boxes. We turned up on spec and the lady showed us several rooms before we chose the one we liked. It was large, had a lovely window seat and was quiet, only drawback it was a bit dark with low level lighting. It was only a 10 minute walk to the waterfront or a couple of minutes to the high street offering plenty of restaurants and a couple of bars. Try the Olive Tree restaurant on the main road - fabulous. Breakfast was plentiful with a selection of things to choose from. Staff very friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, We welcome all reviews and do take them very seriously. The low lighting is due to the energy savers that we installed.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

kind regards

A lovely inn nestled in between the book exchange, pubs and other eateries right in the heart of Knysna. A brisk walk to the Waterfront or any other attraction in town. From the friendly welcome to the modest room along with a lovely breakfast we enjoyed our stay and recommend it to one and all. Also good value for money.

We needed a 2 night stay on our trip down from Port Elizabeth to Paarl.

It is quaint and clean and the staff is very friendly.

It was in the middle of winter and the lady told us the heater doesn't really warm the room, but there is extra blankets in the cupboard. Well we froze that 1st night. I slept with layers of clothes on. Luckily my son figured out that if you set the air conditioner to its highest heat it warms up the room nicely and our 2nd night was much more comfortable and warm

It is nice and centrally located and breakfast was very tasty.

Nice and clean and well priced. Rooms are small and basic, but good enough for short stay. Bit noisy in the evening as it is close to a bar and main road. For the price it is a good option. Will stay again

This was a last minute drive-by booking so we didnt get a chance to look at reviews before hand. The night manager was very helpful, he let me view the room before paying and he let us use the microwave for dinner as it was too late to go anywhere else. The room was small but had everything we needed. It is very basic for the price but we were grateful for a place to rest our heads. There was very loud music til about 12.30am on a week night which i found surprising but Trisha explained that they were in the process of sorting this out. She was really friendly and the breakfast was lovely! It was also a great location to get to the boat cruises in the morning.

Room tip: We stayed in room 7 which was close to the noisy bars.
