This hotel is a fantastic base if staying in Olhao. The staff are lovely and super efficient. The rooms spotless, modern and spacious. I would recommend asking for one facing the pool (u get French windows that open as opposed to a window in street facing rooms). Breakfast is plentiful and the pool area is one of only two in hotels in Olhao. Location is good in that its 2mins from the station for local trips to Fuseta Beach and Tavira and a pleasant 5 mins stroll into the Old Town and harbour front area. Olhao is very traditional, full of character and a bit of a hidden gem. I would recommend taking the public ferry to both Armona and Farol islands for a day on the beach (€2ew) and the hotel has bea h umbrellas guests can borrow if u ask. Local restaurants of repute all around and try not to miss the market on the harbour from fro. 7am - 1pm most days. More
