Spent a week at the gural premier in October. This turned out to be the hotels last week before closing for the winter so review may not be truly representative of how things normally are due to be being so quiet and staff preparing for the closure. Check in and out were quick and easy and reception staff polite and friendly. We booked a deluxe pool room which is the best room we have ever had. Large, spacious, comfortable and clean. Room 3217, first floor with steps to the large pool which was perfect. 16 rooms shared our pool which was served by its own bar. For three days there was only the two of us at the pool which was great for us. Room cleaning was perfect and both the cleaner and the girl behind the bar were brilliant. We didn't use the other facilities as this was always going to be a chilled out week for us but all looked great especially the tennis centre and the kids area. Bars were are really great, served quickly and staff polite and friendly. Used the patisserie a few times and were impressed with that as well. The water park was empty when we were there but slides that were open were great. We're a middle aged couple so not really our thing but gave it a go. Should imagine it would be great for kids at the height of summer.
Now for the only negatives. Snack bar food was basic and staff unfriendly and at times the male waiting staff rude. Main restaurant food looked amazing but hot food was mostly luke warm but for hotel food was ok but again the staftf were the problem. Female staff were fine but the majority of male staff were not up to scratch. Only exception were the lads on breakfast. The worst were the guys meeting and greeting at the entrance, if the were employed to give a welcoming impression to the restaurant they failed miserably. I hate to say it but we were given the impression it was because we were brits, the attitude to Russians and Germans was totally different which is a real shame. If gural premiere want to encourage Brits to visit their hotel they need to sort this out.
Belek shopping centre is a team minute walk, plenty of tourist shops selling copied branded clothes many of which are similar quality as would be made in turkey anyway. Had a Turkish shave and face wax, which was amazing and I wish I had taken the name of the barbers to recommend it.
All in all we had a really good time, apart from a few staff issues, which we just ignored, it was an almost perfect break.
