Voyage is an outstanding hotel but not quite, in my opinion, worthy of best hotel in Turkey.
I have experienced better food, service and quality of furnishings at Delphin Palace, Lara Beach & Sherwood Breezes. However Voyage is superior to Royal Wings, Royal Holiday Palace, Baia Lara, Riu, Melas Lara, Titanic, Topkapi Palace & Kervansary.
Voyage excells on it's variety of activities & the kids club is the very best we have come across.
It is spotlessly clean, even poolside toilets are well attended.
However it is becoming a little shabby, rooms are tired, missing tiles in the pool etc.
The gardens, however, are beautifully maintained.
Due to the enormous site, the layout is a little daunting unless you are allocated in the main building. We were in block B, room 7504, almost the furthest point from the main restaurant.
(15min walk in comfy shoes (not heels)
Late checkout 50 euros for extra 4 hours.
Belek is a better resort than Lara beach with a great Saturday market, however if you are happy to remain within your complex, then the Lara Beach hotels are a convenient 20 min airport transfer.
The adult restaurant is superb and cannot be faulted, the main restaurant feels a bit canteenish with lots of crockery clattering on trolleys, a good selection of food, but not as much "show" cooking as past experiences. Fruit salad at breakfast very poor which was strange considering the array of fruit on offer - cherries, strawberries, pineapple, peaches, nectarines, apricots, melon, kiwi, grapefruit & banannas.
Block B rooms are very spacious & the wifi is excellent. Bedlinen & Towels of a good quality.
On site Spa very expensive compared to other hotels we've tried so didn't use on this occasion.
Taxi rank outside the hotel has a price list on display and we were tempted to try the 110 euro tour to visit Aspendos, Side (4 hours) and waterfalls. Between the four of us we thought it very good value but we were too hot to be bothered in the end.
Taxi to Belek town centre 5 euros each way.
I would return but only if the price is right and I could stay in the main building (but not above the planet bar)
Hope this has been helpful
Best Wishes, Angela

We visited the Voyage Belek at the beginning of May and it was our first AI hotel.... unfortunately now I think we will struggle to beat it!

The choice of food and drink was superb – nearly all top brand alcohols, lots of cocktails available and very drinkable house wines (red and white were much better than the rose). We ate in the Turkish and Fish a la cartes. The Turkish was really hit and miss but the Fish restaurant was great, the selection of starter dishes were really interesting and our whole seabass very well cooked. We did find the process of calling the automated reservation line a real pain – a few minutes after 9am and nearly everything was gone..... we are real night owls and found it annoying to have to set our alarms just to book dinner and missed out a few times. The main buffet however did have an amazing choice of food, including whole roasted duck one night which was delicious. The selection of bread, fruit, desserts, salads etc was staggering. The chocolate fountain was popular in the evening but a lot of the desserts in the buffet and at the patisserie were very bland (looked better than they tasted). Best to stick to more traditional stuff like Baklava, that was yummy!

We found the staff excellent – rarely had to wait long for a drink and even in the adult pool bar, which was sometimes heaving around 12am-1am when other bars had shut, the bartenders were quick to serve the crowds. Once this bar shut there were two open all night – the Reception bar and the 24 hour Bistro (Mexican restaurant). During the early evening we really liked the Planet bar in the main building – this appeared to be the place where a majority of Brits hung out.

The main pool was huge and as it was still a little cold when we were there it was fairly empty. We didn’t use the adult pool except to eat lunch at their pool bar which was a nice quiet spot. Nice touches are fridges of water and juice near the pools/beach, ice-cream fridges at the family beach bar, funfair for the kids (I wanted to go on too!!!! ), beautiful landscaping within huge grounds and I really liked the Nationality Chart in the upstairs lobby (see photo).

We were allocated a room on the 4th floor of the main building and it was a decent size although felt like it needed a bit of a refurb/refresh. However, like the rest of the hotel, it was spotlessly clean and had a great shower. I wouldn’t choose a hotel like this on room alone so it was no problem. Our balcony overlooked the pools and the sea, great view!

All in all I think we will definitely go back, and I rarely go back to the same resorts/hotels.

We stopped at the voyage in may and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel grounds were huge and well kept. We had a room in one of the garden bungalows and it was lovely, the air conditioning was the best we have ever had. We ate at both the main resturaunt and the adult only one, the food was really good in both but we found that there was more choice in the main one. We ate at the steak house one night and were very impressed. Staff very friendly, entertainment a bit hit and miss all in all we had a great time and would return if the price was right.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and had a great time. Decided to go back as it was my sisters special birthday !! this hotel is still as good as the 1st time we went there. Stayed for 10 nights from 15th May, we were given a room around the main gate area that was quite dull because of the trees but decided that we wouldnt be in there that much anyway so not a problem.

The hotel grounds are very big, theres always something going on and the place is immaculate, they clean 24hrs and the gardens are kept lovely.

The choice of entertainment was good, Planet bar had singers and music which was nice. The adult disco bar was opened until 2a.m and the music was good there. They had a turkish DJ one night on the end of one of the piers, the music and the atmosphere was great. There was also a DJ (Sax) from Ibiza doing a thing called the "four seasons disco" in the grounds, there was snow, wind, sun and even rain falling on everyone, was a good laugh. There was an evening with acrobats which was good family entertainment.

The food choice was amazing, the main resturant was always a good choice, the fish choice was good, fresh poached salmon, fresh salmon, prawns, crab, crab sticks, squid was all delicious. The salad bar was always fresh and the choice of dishes was always good aswell. The fruit selection was excellent aswell. They had a cake place where you could choose from allsorts if you are a cake lover, they even had a choclate fountain in the main resturant!

We did go to the Mexican, chineese and the fish al acarte resturants aswell. The food was excellent aswell as the service in all of them. The mexican was also a 24 hour snack bar that we visited on the odd occassion after a few late nights hahahaha ! Thank you to all the staff in there!!

The pool areas and the beach fab, soft beds on the piers and a lovely breeze! There were also plenty of snack bars around the beach and pool areas. They had a big BBQ in the garden area near the beach one day, it was so good the way they had all the chefs at diffrent cooking staions cooking diffrent things ie, chicken kebabs, shish kebabs, meatballs, lamb kebabs, chicken etc, its good how they put all these things together so quickly because they had 2 areas where you could get fruit, salad and bread and whatever the laid on there was always a portable efes bar chairs and tables aswell!

we hired a private beach hut one day for 50 Euros for the four of us. Worth every penny. we had our own waiter, fridge, kettle, snacks and soft sunloungers. Weli our waiter brought our lunch and made sure we had everything we needed all day, recommend this as a treat.

There was a small beer hut in a small garden area inbetween the reception and the main hotel which was a good meeting place. We were always served by Ali who was so friendly and kind, nothing was too much trouble for him, thank you Ali getin, keep up the good work, we will miss you!!

Thank you to everyone in the hotel, the service and staff were second to none! I actually cannot write anymore because I will just go on and on and still forget something!

Top tip, book this hotel its great!!!!

Diane & John x

Room Tip: try for the main buildings or the building by the quiet pool although all the rooms are nice, just a few where we were, were shaded by trees but in a peaceful area.
