“Great location- quiet and private.”
Reviewed June 3, 2014 for a stay in July 2013

My husband and I stayed here in July 2013, so my review is a little late. We had an absolutely fantastic holiday, mainly because the villa is in such a great location. The dolmus service which stops at the bottom of the villa's road can get you almost anywhere worth going nearby. Obviously the nearest and biggest attraction is Olu Deniz's stunning lagoon, and one of the most picturesque beaches I've ever set eyes on.

Hisaranu is walking distance for anyone who wants to party and is British. We avoided this area as it was pretty disgraceful and embarrassing, to be honest. It's hard to imagine what the local Turks must think of us when they open restaurants like 'Del Boy's Cafe', which serves sausage and mash, and unfortunately, was pretty full of burnt, fat Brits.

Fethiye, on the other hand, is a cosmopolitan town with a pretty marina which is the perfect place to sit beside the water and watch the sunset. We spotted turtles coming up to the water's edge. The standard of restaurants here is fantastic, but try and venture into town and mix with the locals. It's cheaper here and the food will blow your mind. The markets and bars and really relaxed and fun too.

The villa itself is charming and a perfect size for 2 or 4 people. The pool was well maintained and the whole property was very clean. I felt safe and secure- and it was generally very quiet as you were staying amongst other family villas and some local houses as well. My only complaint would be that the neighbours' dogs next door barked throughout the night as they were kept outside in chains all of the time.

The lady who greeted us when we arrived (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name) was very informative, helpful and pleasant. She took us through everything in detail and was there to check us out. The Sea Breeze Hotel was only down the road if you ever needed help from her or the other staff.

Overall, I think the villa is well worth a visit- especially if your ideal is to be in a good location- near all of the scenic, historical sights and a bustling town which is the perfect mix of tradition and modernity. The villa is rustic and charming, clean and spacious. It's perfect if you don't want something overly fancy but clean and comfortable.

“What a fantastic Villa Holiday”
Reviewed April 9, 2013 for a stay in August 2012

We stayed in Deniz Villa with my wife and two young children in August 2012 for one week and we had a great time. Villa is very comfortable and house keeping provided everyday. Villa is very close to main road so you do not need to rent a car to travel around. We took local dolmus ( Minibus) to Olu Deniz everyday and cost only 80 pence per person. There are many restaurants and shops around villa so you can get your fresh bread and daily newspaper easily. We realised there were many other villas up on the hill and we made a good choice with Deniz Villa which is easily accessible with two young children otherwise will be very difficult to climb the hill under 40 C heat. We already booked for next August to visit Deniz Villa again.
