Really nice beaches, the national reserve beach that you have to pay to get onto but is lovely and shallow, safe for kids to paddle and you can go snorkeling from here and may see some turtles and fish - there is some other private beaches that some hotels provide free transport to - these have a bar and sunloungers and parasols etc that you have to pay for but if you are not at the beach everyday and prefer the pool then this is a refreshing treat! I went to Billy's Beach which was nice, had stuff for kids to do and pedalos you could hire, which was fun! The main beach in Olu Deniz is right by all the little souvenir shops and restaurants, and i enjoyed walking down the prom looking in these, enjoyed a nice cocktail at one of the beach bars and was amazed watching the parachutes coming in to land, right on the beach in front of you! You can't miss it! Really clear beautiful sea and the scenic backdrop is just gorgeous! Beautiful place to visit

We went in April and most of the bars and restaurants were closed and preparing for the season to start. Think the season starts in may. Water was nice and clean and could see small fish. Beach was stoney which I was expecting sand.

Great for children, familes, couples. Safe to swim here and great place if you love to feed fishes .. they will come and eat out of your hand if you want them too. The day will fly by which is sad because you won't want to leave

We have had a number of holidays in the town of Olu Deniz, and our preferred beach is not the beach fronting the sea, but is a 20 minute walk away to the Blue Lagoon. There the beach areas are sandy, whereas the main beach on the sea front is pebbly with a marked step down into the sea which can make it difficult getting out of the water. In the lagoon the sand extends gently into the sea and there is a good area roped off so kayaks and pedalos don't mix with swimmers and paddlers. It is perfectly safe for children who will, no doubt, be fascinated by the fish that swim round the area. Of course, there is nothing to stop more adventurous swimmers from swimming beyond the roped off area - just beware. On one side of the lagoon entry to the beach is via a number of beach clubs. You can buy a day ticket, and then your sunbeds and parasols are free. We use the Seahorse Club, which has a very pleasant decking area if you don't want to go on the beach, and it also has a large restaurant. You can get a courtesy minibus back into Olu Deniz - calls at a lot of the hotels, just tell the driver your destination.Yje side of the lagoon closest to the sea is a "Nature Reserve" and is pleasantly planted with trees and shrubs. You pay an entrance fee, and also pay for the sunbeds. This side tends to get very crowded.

When I first arrived I was expecting it to not look as nice as the pictures but it was lovely I couldn’t believe how nice it actually was loads of beds to sunbath on a restaurant showers toilets the smell of beautiful flowers then the golden sand with the crystal water was like something out of a movie I went out on a peddle boat for 1 hour and went right out to the middle of the lagoon and was amazed a massive turtle popped his out of the water was so overwhelming it was fantastic the water was warm & clear the food drinks ice creams etc were really nice highly recommended this place.
