Though the hotel lived up to it's name, breathtaking views, you 'diced with death', each time you left the place! Perched on a high hillside, resembling a Tibetan Monastery, 103 steps up and down, or a long uphill drive, this hotel is definitely not suitable for the less mobile or elderly among us, and certainly not for anyone with a child in a pushchair! Which, brings me to a point made in the Hotel's description, stating that, no children under 18 would be at the hotel, however, there was a hoard of them while we were there, all ages, and one in particular little girl who squealed morning & night, also decided to bang on the piano in the dining room at 7am in the morning, our rooms being directly underneath!! One a more positive note, the rooms were good and kept very clean and the staff friendly, the food typically Turkish, which we are happy with, though the cooked food was cold whatever time you arrived in the dining room, which of course spoilt it! We agreed that the drinks prices were very expensive, e.g. 2 lira ( 4 times the cost at nearest shop) for small bottle of water! We were also apprehended for taking strawberries into the hotel, and unbelievably there wasn't any fruit at all in the hotel, very unusual for Turkey, and I do know, as I've been there 29 times!!!! All in all, although we both loved the hotel and the panoramic views, we would be hard pressed to know who to recommend it to, the main reason being it's location, on a very busy road, with no pavement and the uphill trek on the return, especially when it's hot!
