We could not have selected a better resort to celebrate my retirement. From the moment we drove up to the entrance gate to our very early morning departure two days later the entire staff made us feel as though we were the only people they had to take care of. We took advantage of a very fairly priced upgrade to a Casita Suite and it was phenomenal, @ 1,100 sq ft it was larger than our first apartment.

We recently had a very nice day at this property. It's very self contained so when you were here you are not overly close to anything. We spent one day off property because we had a Rent-A-Car but otherwise you're not really going to go anywhere. The people here are exceptional. Every member of the staff called us by name whenever we had interactions with them. So polite and so helpful. We had an issue with our room the first night at the hotel and even though it was very full they managed to find us another room with an even better view. A recommendation on room views would be to request something that does not face the front of the hotel. That's where we were at first overlooking the entryway and when we move to the back of the hotel it was much more pleasant. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Great linens, Nespresso machine. The pool area is spectacular with the infinity pool and again the staff there is worth mentioning for their friendliness and level of service.

I stayed here one night for an evening business banquet then full day of meetings. It is a high-end resort situated in a beautiful location--as others have mentioned. It is a ways out from the Tucson airport--about $39 via Uber. The set up for the banquet was beautiful, outdoors but under a roof. Big fireplace going and terrific buffet. The coolest part was that they had two powerful telescopes set up out on the lawn and someone at each scope to point out interesting things going on in the night sky. My hotel room was big and airy. Everything was clean and classy. Hard to find constructive criticism except for the furniture is turning the corner to becoming just a bit dated. Otherwise a wonderful place if you can afford the high end.

Several couples stayed here for golf and spa. Both fantastic although the greens are very unfair to anyone but a pro. Played well and had 9 three putts, while missing only one fairway and 5 greens. Core dining was very good and service good as well. All staff make this resort one of the best!
