Very uncomfortable experience, the rooms were big but almost empty of furniture, very little storage space, one small pillow each, and 5 coathangers between two of us. Getting the fridge unlocked took a few hours, the "bar" had only beer or wine, and the staff made it very clear that they expected tips for serving up a poor meal in school canteen style, clearing the plates into containers on a trolley while we watched. The staff were generally very surly (not sure it was just a Falkland factor - other nationalities seemed to get the same treatment!) We were genuinely nervous about complaining, in case the atmosphere became worse, we were relieved to move on to the next stop! The location was OK for lunchtime, but not very nice in the evening

Room tip: Sorry, I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all!!

The Kenton Palace is a nice hotel in easy walking distance to the central square where the Presidential Palace and other sites are. Cabs are inexpensive so it is easy to get to museums or other points of interest for less than $10 US. The rooms are spacious, it we were disappointed with the breakfast offerings.

Shame that the place is unhelpful. The fridge is locked to prevent you bring in drinks. Reception offered to change money tomorrow but then refused!. Breakfast was not great served in a basement. I wouldn't recommend it except for a business trip when you just need a bed..

This hotel has a good location, close to the Pink House, Cafe Tortoni and Puerto Madero. The rooms are modern and clean. There is a street market outside the hotel on Sunday mornings. The hotel is secure and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is not one of the best I have ever had in a hotel, but it wasn't terrible either.

This is a great place to stay. The location is in the heart of San Telmo, just blocks from the Plaza de Mayo and the pink house. You are right there for the amazing Sunday market. Breakfasts are good. The rooms are large and new. The staff is very polite and helpful. We would recommend for anyone going to Buenos Aires.
