I stayed there for several months during the last seasons always in summer. Since it open its doors in 2007 they never reinvest anything to hold the level and service they former pretend to offer.
It's an old real state very good located close to the main attractions of Tigre city. The ambiance is nice and still and all romantic. The staff is friendly but absolutely unprofessional.
If you choose the "Posada", the main building, your stay will be more or less ok, the bedrooms are very big, the bathrooms still acceptable. The breakfast indeed poor. NOTICE that La Posada isn't a Hostel anymore but its a Hotel.
If you get a room on the building opposite the street, let's be ready for a roulette game, if you are lucky you get warm water in the shared bathroom and a more or less clean (shared) bedroom or nothing of all.
After rainfalls, leaks are common either at the Posada as on the next building at Libertador 137 or 63.
The value you get for the money they pretend is absolutely poor.More
