This spot is on the Upper Walk (Argentine side) Wonderful location to view part of the falls. Spectacular. It is a small diversion off the Upper walk but worth it.

We booked a tour with Viator tours and it was worth the money. We spent the whole day seeing every angle of the falls on the Argentina side. We returned the next day on our own and went on the boat ride. We took the 11/2 hr boat ride and I would suggest that the 15min ride would suffice as an hour or more of the attraction (boat ride) was actually driving back through the jungle on a truck...

This vistapoint is located on the circuit superior (Upper Falls or Red line) walk on the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls.
The point has been quoted in English as 'The last patrol' tribute point to Ranger Bernabe Mendez. The detail is as pictured in the attached photos including one sign in English.
I leave my main review to the Iguazu Falls listing

Salto Bernabe Mendez provides a greating viewing point over the 'smaller' waterfalls in the Iguazu national park. The falls are only 'small' when compared to the largest waterfall - Devil's throat or El Gargantum del Diablo. The amount of water flowing over them was enormous. Unfortunately when I was there, they were too enormous - creating a lot of spray, and hence obscuring some of the bases of the falls.
