It was good to see some wildlife close up...some toucans and other birds, howler monkeys, a lesser anteater, and some others, all rescued .We arrived just too late for a tour and had to wait near the entry with nothing to see or do really for over an hour. It would be good if tour times were advertised, as we felt we wasted a lot of time there for what we saw. The guide explained things clearly to the small group of English speakers. Bring wet weather gear as the tractor trailer to the wildlife enclosures isn't covered, and of course the walk is outside.

They only have guided trips and only in Spanish, it is worth the trip. They tell you a lot about the animals they have treated and about the animals living in the area.

We went there today with kids. They bring you to a trail with a trailer in the back of a tractor. A guide gives you a tour of part os the rufugee where the animals that cannot be rehabilitated live. We saw 3 different types of felins, many birds and otters, etc. She gives you the personnal story of each animal which is very interesting. The guide spoke only Spanish, but she was excellent. The cost is 150 pesos per person, free for kids 4 and under.

The guide was very accommodating by giving the tour in both English and Spanish for us. It was interesting to hear about their rescue work for injured animals.
