Stayed for three nights. The location is fantastic, right by the lake and a short walk from the high street. It's a bit rustic, but the staff are amazing, very friendly and they serve a good breakfast.

This is not a first class hotel, but the low price and staff and their service make up for it.
The room is very small and we did not like the heavy use of wood as the decorative element (YMMV).
It is located in walking distance from the main street.
Breakfast is good.
Above all - the people who run the place are very attentive, know English and very helpful.

Place is very clean, bed is excellent (i like firm mattresses); croissants, scrambled eggs, and fruit preserve crepe were superb (i had just come out of a much fancier hotel in mar del plata, and i enjoyed breakfast better at la posta). Personnel are friendly and very helpful. There was one glitch, wifi was not working on second floor, but they promptly identified the problem and replaced the repeater (wifi/internet worked fine closer to the reception area).

A great little family run hotel. Upon entering the door of this establishment we were treated as if royalty had arrived. Maybe as a family member whose visits were too far in between. This littlehaven sits within steps of Lago Lacar. A beautiful crystal clear lake on the edges of the downtown area. The accomodations are a little tight as in small but that is made up for by a genuine hospitality that is unsurpassed. The included breakfast is wonderfull. The charm of this monastery like establishment is plentiful.

Room Tip: Try the second floor but all rooms are the same.

The Austrian-style baronial reception hall is a bit dark and over-ornate but you'll receive a warm welcome from the charming and helpful staff. Room 110 was reasonably-sized and had a view across the lake but the furnishings were all a bit tired. A good breakfast was served at table with eggs cooked to order. The hotel is conveniently situated, close to the bus terminal, the main street and the lakefront. Very good value for a popular resort.

Room Tip: Ask for a lake view
