Spent a couple of nights here, the rooms were comfortable and had a great view of the lake.
The mineral pools were like stepping into your bathtub--warm and soothing, with the spigots providing the hot water.
The cabanas we had, were, a bit far from the lobby and pool area, so it was a bit of climbing up and down stairs.
Restaurant service and food was great.

It's a nice hotel. It's old but very well maintained, very clean. Service is good and the staff is friendly. Eating in the hotel is expensive and food is avergage. Breakfast is included but do not expect a huge buffet. The view from the room facing the lake is amazing, very relaxing. Hot springs (thermals) are highly recommended. Huge pool actually. Perfect place if you want to relax and forget about the city for a while.

Room tip: Top floor facing the lake

This was a family trip to escape Bogota for a weekend. Paipa is a great place to be tranquil and the views from this hotel are difficult to beat. The real highlight is the pool which has thermal waters so is hot. You can easily spend hours by the pool, relaxing, having ice creams etc. The restaurant was as good as hotel restaurants can be, serving up international food, and you feel a little isolated. The rooms were comfortable with good facilities.

Room tip: The lodges at the bottom are fantastic and have their own plunge pools

Pros:
- Nice staff.
- Nice pool.
- Nice and not too expensive food.

Cons:
- "Cabanas" very far from the lobby, not suitable for persons with motor disability.
- Dental / shaving kits charged $4,000 => what ???
- Not even towels near the sauna / pool or showers => what ???
- Not easy to locate ...

Room tip: Ask for rooms near the lobby !
