I stayed here with two other business colleagues - we each had king suites. Very charming and beautiful hotel, with amenities (hairdryer, wireless service) that were helpful for business travelers. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent with very prompt and friendly service. The location was excellent and in walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Room Tip: King suites on the 4th floor are charming and spacious.

A close friend had an overnight stay at the Hassayampa Inn for my birthday. We found the staff pleasant and helpful. Given the historic significance of the inn, we enjoyed the artful decor of our room, the lobby, the bar, and the dining area. The Inn's location cannot be beat. After parking our car we got around the downtown area by foot. A great birthday experience.

We have stayed here multiple times. We love the historic charm of the Hassayampa. The lobby is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the location can't be beat, as it is right on the town square where most activities take place. There have been some negative changes in recent years, as breakfast used to be included but is no longer included (the breakfast is pretty good). The rooms are some of the most expensive in the area. The hotel does not have a pool which is a definite negative in the summer, especially if you travel with kids as we do. Finally, we stayed here a few weeks ago (while friends opted for the cheaper St. Michaels) and when I told the manager that the room cleanliness was less than acceptable (hair in the bathroom, etc.) he did not offer anything to compensate for our bad experience. He then handed me a flyer asking me to write a review on Tripadvisor, to which I replied "Oh, I always do!" So not smart not to make things right with the customer. Overall, this is a nice place to stay, and usually we do not have any issues. I would recommend it if you enjoy historic hotels and want to be near the action of the main town square.

Wonderful, characteristic hotel at a great location, right at center of Prescott. The staff was absolutely delightful, great service. Very nice breakfast included. The rooms were very beautiful, though small.

We spent a weekend in Prescott with our two little terriers, and the Hassayampa was a great alternative to the usual motel. We met some other guests with dogs, and enjoyed the warm welcome. Nice classic hotel, very helpful staff who couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. We found nearly all the nearby hiking areas are open to dogs, so we took them up Thumb Butte, Granite Mountain, and hiking in the Granite Dells -- not to mention around the Courthouse Square to meet the local dogs. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Hassayampa Inn a few years ago and loved its quirky charm but wished it had done a few upgrades to the beds, linens, and towels. That has now been done and it is a major improvement. This place is for you if you love the art deco period, antique furniture and great staff in the hotel and restaurant. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast and dinner. We were celebrating my half-sisters 90th birthday and we had a private room with about 16 people at the same time they were hosting a wedding in another building. I worried a bit that the service might be slow or the food not up to par because of the wedding, but everything was perfect---the service and the food could not have been better.

I think this hotel is perfect for couples and business travellers looking for something different than a chain hotel but because of its historic status, this isn't really a good place for young childern or teenagers that need alot of activities or a pool t enjoy themselves. But anyone with an appreciation for 1920s/30s design will be in heaven.

New mattresses, linens, and flat screen televisions are just a few of the recent upgrades to the Inn– and I’m so pleased to discover that you and your husband returned to enjoy them! Thanks for taking the time to post a review about your recent experience. And thank you for celebrating a 90th birthday at the Hassayampa! We look forward to being a part of your future celebrations as well!

Loved our short stay in this hotel. Staff was courteous and kind and helpful. Restaurant was really good, and all within walking of downtown Prescott shops and galleries. Plenty of restaurants, clubs and activities right there. Left wishing we could stay longer.
