“Great Room, Wonderful Guests, Awesome Breakfast, Genuinely Friendly and Caring Hosts”
Reviewed 29 October 2011

Boots and Saddles is the place to stay if you will be visiting the Northern Arizona countryside. Sedona is an incredibly beautiful place to visit and with an itinerary provided by Irith and Sam, the Grand Canyon is a wonderful day trip experience where you can enjoy it without being part of the "tourist" attraction. Coming back to the Santa Fe room after a day of hiking the beautiful Bear Mountain trail, it was great to relax in the deep and roomy two person jetted tub enjoying the ambience created by the outside waterfall and the fireplace. It is by no accident Boots and Saddles is a high recognized place to stay; it is the mission of Irith and Sam that each guest has an incredible visit to the beautiful Red Rock country. Choose Boots and Saddles and you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Boots and Saddles just this past week. We stayed 5 nights and it was a wonderful honeymoon! We were in the Ghost Rider room and we made the best choice in choosing this room. The king size bed was wonderful, though somewhat soft with the down comforter and pillows. The shower was amazing with the two shower heads and it being so roomy with such a great view. The best part was the hot tub for two on the private balcony with the red rock cliffs as a backdrop. Absolutely breathtaking! Sam, Irith, and Amy were wonderful hosts and recommended only the best places to eat and visit. The breakfasts were delicious, the homemade bread was to die for. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice, relaxing vacation. Our first time to Arizona was so splendid mainly due to Sam, Irith, and Amy's hospitality. We hope to make another trip soon!!

Room Tip: Ghost Rider....best choice!

Our 3 weeks tour of the Southwest took us to many beautiful and interesting places but they were all exceeded by Sedona and the Boots and Saddles. Sam and Irith really know perfectly how to make their guests comfortable and happy. The hospitality at Boot's and Saddles was outstanding and we appreciated the comfortable atmosphere and the nice people we met there. It was a pleasure to talk to the hosts, to hear and learn lot's of interesting things and stories about Sedona, the culture, the people, the many hiking and dining opportunities.Sam and Irith were very helpful in suggesting places to see and things to do, making reservations etc. Too bad, that we had to leave after 3 days because our trip ended in Sedona and we had to fly back to Switzerland. But we will keep the many wonderful experiences and encounters with nice people in our heart and live on them for a while. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed only two days at Boot and Saddles and are sorry we didn't stay longer. The personalized greetings and information was very touching.
The breakfasts were delicious and extrodinary and made a good start to the day.
We will definitely make Sedona and Boots and Saddles a holiday destination in the near future.

Room Tip: Sacred Feather had the BEST view of the Red Rocks.

We were staying in Sedona for a couple of days and I found this B&B on a website. We wanted a romantic, private, adult getaway and this establishment was everything and more than we could have asked for. We have stayed at many B&Bs, from log cabins in the forest to Canadian vineyards, and have found that there are those whose establishment is not quite what the website portrayed. One of our biggest peeves is traveling to a distant location to arrive at a destination that is not at all what we were promised or expected.
In this case, Boots & Saddles had the a-a-a-h-h-h-h factor from the gate! Our reservations were made well in advance, and every correspondence with the owners between booking and arrival (I had many questions about the area, etc.) was patient, professional, courteous, and well informed. Upon arrival they made special arrangements for us to check in early, then gave us full explanation, maps, and suggestions for our stay, based on what we wanted to see and do. Like a private travel guide. The B&B is beautiful in every way and we were thrilled that it was everything we had hoped for. We stayed in the Ghost Rider room, and when we walked in the door, were amazed. The decor is beautiful and tasteful, very Western. We had a private spa on a private deck overlooking the red rock hills. The spa itself was immaculate and well kept, not overly chlorinated; complete with luxurious robes and rubber duckies! There was also a telescope for our use, and as luck would have it there was a full moon for the days of our stay. The bed was heaven to sleep in, very comfy and roomy, with mashmellow heaven down feather bedding and top quality sheets and pillows. And the shower... just like the website says...it was about 6' by 6' enclosed earth color tiled shower, with a floor to ceiling picture window looking out over the red rock hills, two large shower heads, and was like taking a warm rainfall shower surrounded by nature. We couldn't think of a good reason to get out of the shower! The breakfasts were completely wonderful and made with skill and attention to detail. In the morning, Sam came out to say good morning to all the guests at breakfast, and give a full description of the coming meal, answer any questions about the area, and generally welcome everyone. Sam and Irith are both very knowledgeable, professional, charming, and generous. They know their surroundings and give their guests everything one could want in a getaway. We will recommend Boots & Saddles to everyone, and will definitely come back as often as possible. We can't say enough. 5 stars across the board!

Room Tip: All rooms are a prize! We stayed in Ghost Rider and will choose it again next time!

My husband and I stayed at Boots and Saddles on our wedding night. The room, staff, and entire experience was incredible. We are talking about when we can go back for another stay. You will not want to miss the chance to stay in this unique bed and breakfast.

Room Tip: The Ghost Rider was a cozy and comfortable room. We loved the private hot tub and balcony!!
