I am an avid hiker but afraid of heights, and not necessarily comfortable with rock scrambling. We went early (critical if you want parking! When we left close to 11, the police were giving out tickets to those parked on the road) and it was busy but not overcrowded. My kids (7, 11, and 13) had no problems at all with any of the scrambling. It's a very short hike. I was uncomfortable with some of the climbing (thinking more of how I was going to get down!) but I pushed through and it was beautiful at the top. Definitely worth a visit!

It's a quick hike but challenging. You should definitely try to be at the top to watch the sun go down. The views are amazing.

Going straight up Cathedral Rock (600 feet elevation) was a wonderful hiking/bouldering experience. Nothing like getting hands on with nature, literally! The views from the top of the trail are awe inspiring.

This walk is labeled pretty easy and it is u til you reach one point that you have to climb up a short crevasse type area to get what looks like the top .... it is not the top and this spot is much easier than you might think. I had Chaco sandles on .. I let the family go thinking they would be like 10 mins .. they were much longer so I decided to just climb up .. it keeps going and going to the beautiful 360 view at the top .. well worth it and not as hard as you might think .. guess that is why they label easier... don't miss so beautiful

Probably my favorite hike ever! So fun and amazing views. Crowded but worth it. Go early to get parking.
