We had a great meal, served promptly! The food was fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend. We shared the Mediterranean sampler, a pizza , the kale salad and gelato. Great all around!

Our pizza was really good but service was slow and everyone seemed to be on a frenzy! Very loud music and despite the ceiling baffles, volume of talking was high as well.

My husband and I were very excited to eat pizza at Pisa Lisa after a long day at the Grand Canyon and reading all the reviews and even got a recommendation from our Pink Jeep tour guide that afternoon. However, we were greatly disappointed. It was a Tuesday night and not overly crowded when we arrived around 6:45p. It was just the two of us and we ordered a soda (for him), a small Caesar salad (for me) and we split a margherita pizza and added chicken and carmelized onions (the pizza came out to be something like $19 for all that). Not a very intricate order and kind of pricey, but we figured it’d be delicious and totally worth it. The salad and soda came out relatively quickly. Both left much to be desired. But It took over an hour to get our pizza and several tables of groups of 4 or more came in after us and got multiple pies of pizza before we even got ours. Our waiter came by a couple of times saying our pizza was almost ready (it wasn’t) and then even came by to say the reason for the hold up was because of multiple “to-go” orders that came in. He even offered to comp us dessert for our wait. At this point, we are both starving and very annoyed seeing other tables get their food who came in much later after us. Finally the pizza came and it was tasteless. We asked for some garlic powder or something to put on it to make it taste like something and were told the restaurant doesn’t have any. I ate 1 small slice, my husband had 1.5 slices and ultimately after they said they couldn’t give us any garlic or anything we decided it wasn’t worth our money or calorie intake and didn’t eat it. Our waiter offered to take the pizza off the bill (we agreed) and again offered dessert (we declined) after we told him the pizza was tasteless and we wouldn’t eat it. He half heartedly apologized, gave us the bill for the soda and salad and we left disappointed and still hungry. Would not recommend this place for good pizza at all. The salad was “meh” and not worth the $7.50. My husband said the soda was much too sweet and pretty overwhelming to be considered something you’d order with dinner. Next time we’ll go to Picazzo’s down the street.
