When we were in Sedona six years ago, we visited several galleries, and this one stood out from all the rest. So, on Wednesday, 8/15, on our way to Prescott, we knew we wanted to stop in again. We were not disappointed. This is like a museum, or a Chihuly exhibit. The most beautiful art, (some is whimsical), and the most vibrant colors. If we were in the market for such items, it would be very hard to choose, as all are exquisite.

There are two entrances, one from the parking area, and one from the gorgeous courtyard. The staff is there to answer quesions, should you have any, but not intrusive or pushy. Every time we go through Sedona, we know that we will stop here.

Kuivato Gallery is a glass gallery in Tlaquepaque Arts Center. Their glass pieces range from small hand blown inexpensive pieces to large works of art. The attention to detail is amazing.

Came in recently to have a look at some art that caught my attention.

The very anxious salesperson quoted me 2 different prices in the space of 5 minutes, the second of which was lower.

I wondered later about the authenticity of the piece and where it came from. It had me thinking that perhaps I needed to do my homework before speaking to them again. Not sure, but that was my gut reaction.

This is a top gallery in Sedona. Nice to be able to find beautiful work that is not too expensive. A walk through is like walking through a museum.

We ordered an expensive piece of art glass which they said would arrive home in about 10-14 days. After almost three weeks we called and they said the shipper was out of foam. The shipper called after another two weeks and said it would be here on the Friday after Thanksgiving but it didn't arrive until the following Monday.

The gallery was very uncommunicative and relatively rude when we made the calls. I wrote and asked that the shipping price be refunded to us but never heard from them. I found the experience frustrating at best and although the art is lovely, the personnel are not.

We often buy pieces from this Tlaquepaque center glass gallery. The artists they represent continually bring in unique cutting edge pieces. There is a constant flow of different pieces and different artists, many of them world class. Prices range from $20 or so up to tens of thousands, so there is something for everyone. They have had breathtaking pieces on occasion and we've seen similar pieces in many other galleries in other cities that were nowhere near the quality. A good place to buy.

This gallery has wonderful art glass. Fabulous pieces and interesting jewelry too. It is high end, but has more affordable pieces too. It seemed to be mostly American glass artists.

We were enjoying our viewing of this gallery so much - the glass is gorgeous - until we decided to purchase a rather expensive bowl. The associate behind the counter was awful. Snooty, dismissive, ignorant, along with inept. After we left, we were glad to be away from her. Then, we realized more trouble was on the horizons: we had problems with our item 'lost' in shipping, no contact from the shop, and rude impatient replies to our questions all from the same woman. Blamed us for every one of her own errors, especially in shipping address. Finally we made contact with a long-term employee who apologized for the errors and disgraceful customer service. Don't go there if someone like I mentioned above appears to be on staff that day, (you'll know immediately by her attitude!) but otherwise, their glass collection is very pretty. Worth a stop but watch out when you shop!!!

They have exquisite art in this gallery. Beautiful glass and kinetic sculptures, beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelry, but much of it priced out of my range. Still lovely to look at.

After visiting a dozen jewelry stores along 179, and after listening to store people cutting prices in half thus making them only twice as expensive as they should have been, we visited Kuivato. Very nice people. My wife had a very difficult time making up her mind. Everything that she looked at was, in my opinion, fairly priced. Not cheap. Not outrageous. Just reasonably priced.
