The best part is that the views are great from the start, so you can make it as long or as short as you want. We had 2 people in their 60s and two elementary school kids. Everyone had fun. We went to the 7 pools and back. The sinkhole was the coolest part. If I was by myself I would run it for a fun workout.

Did Soldier Pass and Brin's Mesa loop. Very diverse scenery. About 6 miles and 800' ft elevation change. Only 14 parking spaces at trail head but I believe you can park on the street without paying.

This trail is loaded with great views. Fairly steep to the top of the mesa, then level until the decent. We got a little crossed up at the end and had a little trouble getting back to our starting point. Double check you map.

It has been taken over by tourist and the neighborhood is bearing the brunt of it. Parking up and down Soldier's Pass is sometimes 60 cars. Thnk it i not ectly dafe to walk up and down as resident and wokmen travel it all day long as well. Vehicles are parked on both sides of the road all day long and it is visually impared at times. Be careful if yo come to hike to
Soldier's Pass Forest access area.

We really enjoyed this hike. There are a lot of different paths you can take to make it as long or short as you want. We did ~6 miles and the views really varied but the hike was fun, pretty easy, but we enjoyed the changes throughout. Breathtaking!
