The course was in average shape. It appears maintenance has slipped a bit. Greens were average. I expected some of this due to time of year. I choose to play this course on recommendations of friends sadly was not up to their statements.
Hopefully what ever happens to this course will only improve it as some of the government offers who play there regularly stated was up for sale and things have slide.
It was enjoyable to play, hilly rough with some uphill downhill lies which any golfer should be able to handle.
I would play here again hopefully things will once again improve.
All staff were pleasant and helpful.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this course before now. I love this course. It was designed by Pete Dye, a legend in American golf course design (ala: Sawgrass, Whistling Straights, to name a few). I've played this course a couple dozen times and simply love it. Yes, it is a challenging course, but generally forgiving if you don't panic. It is a good test of your golf skills and nerves. It is not for weenies! Good value for your money. You should play this golf course.

Should be named Tons of Mounds. If you miss the fairway you will most likely have a blind shot to the green. Otherwise pretty wide open with some water challenges.

The pending tear-down of the golf course makes it a timely course to try and get a few rounds in. It's beautiful, quick and parking is really easy. Pretty affordable too.

This was a nice course to play for a reasonable price. It is on the ASU campus and is right in Tempe. We played in May right after greens were aerated but they still played nicely. The course was in good shape but don't expect a resort caliber course. There are a lot of high wires surrounding course being that it is right in the city. The clubhouse has a good variety of items also.
