The guides were personable, professional and safe. Boat captain was stellar. He navigated through choppy seas and we saw whales, dolphins and devil rays. One negative of the day was my husband had to skip the first dive because his mask didn't fit properly. One of the dive masters traded with him, but he still didn't get a good seal. He asked about trying on masks when we were in the office, being fitted with other equipment, but was told all the masks were on the boat. He was able to get a suitable mask for the 2nd dive, which worked great. He wasn't too disappointed as the 2nd dive was the best of the 2. He said the visibility was very good and saw many more things than he ever saw in Mexico. Including white tipped reef sharks, octopus, giant lobster, eel, devil rays, turtles, plus lots of schools of fish. The only other issue, (which Costa Rica Dive and Surf couldn't do anything about), was the weather. We had pelting rain and rough, choppy seas once we reached Cano. In fact, we couldn't dock in Cano at all. I don't scuba so I went along to snorkel, but didn't even try because visibility was poor, (and didn't want to fight the waves and current). All in all, we would go with CRDandS again and hope for better weather. With that being said, our teenagers enjoyed every minute of it and are still taking about it. So, success!
