Just got back from a fantastic weeks ski here with my lads. I read some of the reviews on here prior to going and was a little concerned about the food in the hotel. I must say that there MUST have been some changes as my group could not fault the food at all. On an evening we had the choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts. All of which were served by some very polite and friendly staff in the 'winner's' restaurant. The Las night was Mexican themed and we loved it... best night...

We stayed clear of any fish dishes for mains and had over the course of the week; Beef dinner, Chicken teriyaki, Burger and fries, Chill con carne, beef stroganoff, barbeque ribs. There was a selections of salads, soups (which I enjoyed most nights) and pasted for starters. We were often too full to have deserts..

Breakfast was continental style; boiled eggs, toast, croissants, cereal, ham, cheese, etc. Missing English tea for a couple of days, but plenty of coffee selections and juices. would have loved some scrambled eggs but for the cost to stay here over all very good.

The rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily.

Our room was on the 3rd floor, the room was adequate for our needs. It was hot on an night, but we simply turned down the radiators before we went out on an evening and left a window open. We could hear some of the bashers on a night, but that is a compromise we were willing to accept being so close to the lifts, 5 minutes from boot room to lift. We could hear some of the other revellers leaving pubs etc late on a night but once we had sorted the heating, we no longer needed the windows open on a night...

The staff here and within all the bars we visited; Dubliner, Red Lion, Underground, Paddys were very very friendly and helpful...

Transfer to resort going was a little frustrating, the laws in France have now changed, people are not allowed to walk up and down the bus like they used too (crystal staff) so they use the stop off (50 mins in total) for people to use the bathroom and to SELL their products. Most people either pre purchase passes etc or sort them in resort, a complete waste of everyone's time, but an opportunity not missed by Crystal. Transfer back to the airport on the way home was 15 minutes...

we pre arranged our ski hire from Pass 83, right on the slopes near our hotel, staff again were excellent, Edward the owner sorted everything in advance via email and his staff were so helpful and nice...

To conclude I would definitely visit here again the cost v the facilities is excellent.

Hotel very clean and the rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels and toiletries provided (I.e. Soap, tissues, shower gel, shampoo, shower caps). Room lovely and warm with cast iron radiators!! Distance from ski slope from hotel only 40 yards. Our room has a fabulous view of the ⛷ slopes. Boot room to store ski and boots. Would recommend this hotel!!!

We visit the hotel with a group of friends in February and enjoyed our stay.
Although the rooms and food were basic, the hotel was clean and the location was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall, Good value for money!

Great weeks skiing here in March 2016. Excellent location, slopes just over the road!! Lovely food and made to feel welcome.
Some noise from the bars when they kicked out but otherwise no problem!
Would defiantly stay here again.

We stayed here for a week at the end of Feb.

We upgraded our room in the UK to a mountain view and we are so glad we did! They are at the front so are a little quiter and the view is amazing! You do still hear people, bashers, lifts etc but no where near as bad as the back of the hotel.

The rooms are clean and fresh towels every day. Yes hot water but you have to leave it running a while first. The rooms however were hotter then the sun and so stuffy! We slept every night with the balcony open but it then meant you could hear everything outside more.

The biggest let down was the food! Our rep has, and was still trying to sort it out with the hotel, however it just seemed to get worse. One night we had sausage and beans...just sausage and beans! I felt like as we were half board we werent good enough to have the proper food served in the other restaurants. Service was with a smile but was very slow with lots of mistakes.

Drinks are also exspenive compared to other bars. We were allowed to go to the Mexican one night which was a welcome relief. And also the Italian which was nice but we were only allowed to choose from the lunch menu. However, if you paid for your food that was a different story.

Breakfast was toast and cereal. Again if you paid you could get other breakfast stuff.

Lastly our rep was fab. He wanted to know how you were, if you were enjoying and any issues. Lee always seemed genuinely interested in what you had to say.

Overall i would not stay in this hotel again. Such a shame as the location was great. If they sorted the food, drink prices and service then i would definitely reconsider.
