These apartments are great value for money. I am staying with hubby in an open plan room with a alcove with twin beds and 2 singles in the other area. It has a sofa too. The kitchen area has 2 halogen rings, a fridge and microwave. There is also a dining table. The bathroom is a good size with a shower over the bath. The room is warm but this is managed with a thermostat and there is plenty of hot water. Other reviewers said the walls were paper thin but I haven't noticed this. A slight negative is the crystal booking offered free WiFi but it isn't it's €10 for a week for one device and it's actually very good so worth paying. They have lockable ski storage, each room is assigned a cupboard with plenty of room for all equipment.

The location is up from the town centre but you can access the ski slops about 2 mins walk from the building. Then ski down to the main lifts.

The bar on site is nice. The photos on the crystal website don't do it justice. Happy hour 5 - 7 with 2 4 1.

There is currently an absence of snow in the area (1st week on January 2017) however the resort is doing there upmost to keep all the links open and runs snow covered. Hopefully snow will arrive soon for future guests.

I would recommend these apartments for those looking for a reasonably priced getaway.

The hotel has no frills! The rooms were clean, the shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast tasted good. The ski rental shop is in the basement of the hotel so very handy upon checkin. The staff are friendly - however ..... They seem unequipped to deal with more than 10 people at breakfast. The location is good, about 3 min walk from the slopes (if you are not a beginner) and about 10 min if you are a beginner. 150 Euro deposit needed upon arrival in cash. No oven in the self service apartments - only a hob and microwave. If you opt for half board the dinner is in the sister Hotel Olimipades just a 3 min walk from Manzano. The half board dinner menu is a little boring - in hindsight I would have preferred to eat someone different some of the nights. But for the price it is good. Would come here again if I was on a budget and wanted value for money in Pas de la Casa.

Just back from a week here...
Apartments were ok. we got a 5 bed room apartment. Beds ranged in comfort but were not too bad. Had everything you needed for a quick bite but wouldn't attempt cooking in the room. Room was pretty cold only 1 small electric radiator for the whole room. The Bed by the window was extremely cold. Luckily only 3 of us stayed in this room as that bed was freezing. Never had any issues with hot water always enough for a shower.
our towels were not changed in the middle of the week we had to go get them changed. There is a fee for cleaning as well if you do not clean at the end.

for the money it was grand. Just avoid the window bed

Apartment was clean and aright in size, we had one with a bedroom for kids to sleep in. Not much storage for clothes so lived out of the suit-case. Lots of hot water for baths, showers, dishes etc. Disappointed there were no oven to cook in as would have liked to be able to make some pizza or chicken. Great ski/board lockers downstairs but we found the board boots didn't dry over night so took the liners up to the room to dry over night. Wasn't bothered with noise from neighbours once they were inside their rooms but front doors are internal doors and doesn't block out any noise from people being a bit noisy late at night. Also on the morning of departure when some has to leave earlier than others. Staff behind bar and in ski/board hire were friendly. Passports were left out behind bar and not locked away securely. We made sure we checked apartment over when we arrived and wrote a list of things wrong so we wouldn't loose our deposit (£120). Good idea to take some pictures too as proof. Check out was quick, just make sure to strip beds, empty bins and leave the apartment clean otherwise they will keep part of your deposit. A bit of a trek when you have been shopping as it is quite far up the hill at the back but it makes it more quiet from traffic, we have stayed right opposite the lifts previously and it is a lot more noisy with traffic and people so good from that respect. Towels get changed mid-week and bins emptied.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor and we didn't hear any noise from the bar but I think it wasn't too busy.

Travelled here as a group of six friends (All guys)

The apartment was clean, basic and spacious which is exactly what we needed.

It was close to the slopes (2 minute walk in boots) But you could ski down right to the doorstep if you worked out the little short cut from the slopes.

5-10 minute walk to the bars/town depending on where you were aiming.

We were late in all but one night so had no problems with noise as some people have highlighted (We may have been responsible for a lot of it)

Over all for what we paid we were very happy. Yes the walls are thin and it's noisy and lively but that's a given when you book, so if you're with kids or don't like the crowd then it's simple, stay elsewhere! There's nothing wrong with this place in terms of value, cleanliness or hospitality.

Also the ski lockers were some of the most easily accessible and warm (Good for dry boots) I've ever experienced so hats of in that respect!

Room Tip: We stayed on the third floor with a cracking view of the town and slopes. 6 bed.
