I booked cabin #6 as a surprise for my boyfriend's 27th birthday...We both loved the cabin, the view of Beaver Lake, the full kitchen where we made homemade pizza, the bbq qrill where we cooked some awesome steaks, the jacuzzi for 2 where we put to much bubble bath in and the bubbles just kept multiplying(it was really funny though)! We loved the peacefulness and the privacy the cabin provided. We used the fireplace both nights we were there, very romantic. The deck overlooking Beaver Lake offered great sunsets!! Eureka Springs was only a 15 minute drive away, where we strolled through the shops and stopped and ate lunch at a local mexican restaurant called The Oasis. I couldn't tell you the address to The Oasis, it's in one of the alley's in downtown Eureka Springs. I'm sure if you ask a local, they can point you in the right direction. Everyone there is very friendly, the local artists and business owners have some pretty good stories to tell!

WOW, is the word. My husband I visited this paticular site, 7 years ago and I have to say... they have grown. Yes, disregard last review. We took our family of five and a friend and we were not maxed out. Their are two stories to each cabin and the top floor sleeps 4 and the lower half, slept 6 with double occupancy. We traveled all over that lake and their were bluffs that children were jumping off of and having a fabuleous time. Your first restraunt is less than two miles down the road, but it was awesome also it was called the Horizon Restraunt, which gives you one of the most beautiful sunsets. The water was so clear that I could see my husband's toes clearly and he is 6'6".. It is a small place with 8 cabins, but the views are astonishing beautiful and the owners are very kind. I would recommend that you buy your groceries in your hometown and keeping them cold in a cooler until you arrive and that way you don't have to go to Eureka Springs Hart grocery, Which by the way makes for a nice shopping spree. Eureka Springs is full of Artistic, Eclectic stores that will make a shopping day full of excitement. My husband and I and his best friend decided this would be our yearly event that we would have to make our own....BOOK IN ADVANCE... this is not party cove or the ozarks... this is serene in comparison.... bring your boat they rent slips right below the cabins....

I just got back from Lake Shore Cabins on Beaver Lake with my family of 5, and we had a fabulous time! We were looking for a more relaxed atmosphere with less development than one finds across the Missouri border in the Branson/Tablerock area. We found exactly what we wanted. Beaver is the most scenic man-made lake I've ever seen - the water is crystal clear and the views of the wooded mountains are georgous! The cabins at Lake Shore are cute, cozy, and well-appointed. We simply could not have asked for a better place to swim, take in the scenery, and relax. A few things you should be aware of: 1- It is a small operation, 6 cabins total designed mainly for honeymooners. It worked well for my family of 5 because my children are still small. Larger families or groups of adults may want to look elsewhere. 2- The emphasis is on R&R - definitely not for partyers. 3- It is somewhat secluded (9 miles to the nearest restaurant or supermarket) so bring you own food. 4- Book early, as they are often at or near full capacity. If you don't mind these minor issues, and you want some beautiful Ozark scenery in a peaceful setting, this place is fantastic.
