Having booked through Iceland Farm Holidays, my Wife and I stayed in a four person cottage at NUPAR I - III from 8th August to the 15th, with our two teenage boys. We found the cottage to be warm and clean, and it had everything we needed for our stay in the area. Although there are other cottages on the site, you are not overlooked due to the way they are laid out. A particularly lovely feature was the hot-pot on the veranda - great to sit in at night - and if its windy don't worry because it is enclosed on three sides. Lovely way to unwind.

Hvergerdi is a great base to explore Southern Iceland - we travelled as far South as Vik, and as far North as Borgarnes. We also did the Golden Circle sights and took a couple of runs into Reykajvik - fascinating country and we look forward to coming back maybe in a couple of years.

In summary, we would very highly recommend these cottages - the owners are friendly and helpful, the cottages are only about a mile out of town so you have access to all the shops etc you need - but they are in a lovely private and quiet area to enjoy your holiday.
