Stayed here for 2 nights while in Carlingford for a 40th birthday party. The location is absolutely perfect, within 2 minute walk to plenty of pubs and restaurants. We were met on arrival by a friendly young man who helped carry our bags to the room while giving us some information about the B&B and restaurant. Our room had a double and single bed, both of which were very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was small but had a great use of the space. The shower had great water pressure.
Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was extremely good. There was a choice of cereals, juices and fresh fruit and a large choice of cooked breakfasts that were served with the most delicious white soda bread ( I'm sorry I didn't purchase some from them to take home) The young waitress that served us both mornings was very pleasant and friendly.
My only negative on this Bed and Breakfast is that the signal for the tv went and the Internet was slow, and when we mentioned it we were told that the company they used lowered the service while they negotiated a new contract. Would have liked to be able to watch the news but it was nothing major as we only stayed 2 days but I wouldn't be happy if we had of being staying longer.More
