We stayed there for the St Patricks weekend and it's one of the coldest houses we have ever been in!! We were staying with a 4 month old baby and the house was so so cold when we arrived - the heating and / or fire wasn't on for us. Maybe it was the first letting of the year or something so the house hadn't heated up properly but it was really bad how cold the house was. I know that you'd expect an old house like this to be cold but this was something else! Luckily we had brought plenty of blankets for our daughter!!
On a positive note, a bale of briquettes, firelighters and kindling was provided which was nice. We used 6 bales of briquettes in total over 4 nights!!!
Unfortunately, teabags and / or milk wasn't provided so when we arrived late on Friday night , I had to drive to Youghal (20mins) to get supplies.
FYI, the shop in the village closes at 1900 and the petrol station on the road to Youghal closes at 2230.
I'd definitely stay in the area again but unfortunately, not in this property.
