Spectacular castle that's been lovingly and tastefully preserved. Be sure to pay extra for the 2nd floor part of the tour, and pay for being able to take photos! They will stop you if you try to take photos without paying, and you will definitely want to take photos in this place.
The English tour is informative, but I enjoyed looking around and appreciating the attention to detail in this place more than listening to the guide.
It's like tie stopped in the 1870's inside this castle. Truly amazing.

Despite the warnings about getting in, we were pleasantly surprised. An English tour was provided within 15 minutes of our arrival and we didn't have to queue to pay. Despite being a Saturday in the school holiday, we waited less than expected. Maybe we were lucky!

The tour was very interesting, the guide was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately it wasn't always easy to hear in a large tour group. Having said that, non English and non Romanian tours were considerably smaller groups!

Highlights for us were the impressive technology before its time, the murano chandeliers, and the many wooden carvings hidden around the rooms.

We lunched at the place you pass walking up (cafe regal) and it was limited but delicious! The wander up through the woods was also very pleasant with lots of touristic shopping opportunities, and corn on the cob (and berries!).

Also not as far to walk from the town as expected. Though for obvious reasons, it is all uphill!

We recommend that all those who visit the country but and the Romanians who have not already done so far to make a stop at the Peles Castle. It is a lesson of good taste with which should we take pride in all Romanians. Styles of architecture and design different combined with good taste in a castle "summer". A castle which has some premiere in :The first centralized vacuum cleaner, for example. However, I recommend those dealing with the administration of the castle to invest more in the proper maintenance of it.

After you visit the monastery , you take a nice walk in the woods , buy some souvenirs and there you are infront of a fairytale castle, inside you are impressed by the style, furniture and details you will notice. The guide is saying very interesting things about history and royal family.
