We had a most wonderful buffet lunch here, with our group tour. The food (everything tasted wonderful) and service was as well as can be expected. A very historical place along the way to visiting Peles Castle.

I’d give this hotel only two stars and this for the building and landscape, not for the conditions. Nothing has changed inside for years! The same shabby furniture getting more and more degraded, a bad functioning shower faucet, squeaking cupboard doors, mold everywhere, poor room lighting and even spiderweb in one corner of the bathroom. The restaurant services are parallel to the accommodation and resemble those from the communist era. But - if you are willing to accept these conditions and book a room facing the park, the view is really nice. As for myself, I’d look for another accommodation - plenty of them in Sinaia.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel. Very pleasant experience - well maintained interior and exterior which happens relatively rare with such old buildings.
Clean rooms/bathrooms. Breakfast is very good. The restaurant was nice as well.
Overall, very nice place which I would be happy to visit again.

I have wrote 5 e-mails in order to book a room, called around 3-4 times and finally abandoned. I perfectly understand the lack of desire to pick up the phone or answer an e-mail. Disastrous!! Working in the travelindustry, this is #1 worst time of response.
Good luck Sinaia!

The hotel is very well situated close to the Peles Castle and the main boulevard where you find a lot of pubs and restaurants. Founded in 1911, the architecture of the hotel is superb, together with its large garden. However, this is far from being a 4 star hotel. Everything seems old, from the furniture and tapestry to the behaviour of the personnel. The food was delicious and this is by far the hotel's biggest advantage. Even if some of the waiters are polite, others were quite rude and unprofessional. Internet works decent. The hotel doesn't have a private parking, so if you don't find an empty spot on the street, tough luck.
