We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and both the food and especially the service have been excellent. We would normally visit several times whilst staying in Fuengirola but we won’t be rushing back this time.

I don’t know if it’s changed hands or just staff but the normal friendly greeting was missing, service was perfunctory at best abrupt at worst. To make matters worse some of the food was poor.

We ordered the Indian starter for two and what arrived was dusted with some sort of curry/salt dust that looked awful. The garnish was dry and discoloured looked like it had been prepped hours if not days before and the starters themselves covered in ‘dust’ we disappointing.

The main meals tased excellent as usual Lamb Sag and Chicken Balti (though served in a strange slightly grubby looking metal ‘bucket’?). Finally the chapatis seemed greasy and €2 euros each!

Overall very disappointing for somewhere that’s not exactly cheap.

We ordered a takeaway for delivery at 6.30pm. It arrived at 7pm. Onion bhaji, chana chat, butter chicken, Bombay aloo, pilau rice and peshwari naan. All delicious! Came with a pot each of raita, mango chutney and onion salad. Very good value. We will definitely use them again and even try eating in.

Food is average for this type of cuisine. Not 100% sure if it is halal so stick to veg options. If u like your spice order hot curry as medium is very mild. Don't order anything else of the menu as that is not there specialism. Naan is £2 and it's not very big. £9 for lam bhuna enough for 2ppl. The outside CD do with a refurb inside seating area is nice. Toilets were clean but that CD be because it was midday and quiet.

We love spicy Indian food and had a wonderful evening tonight. Our host was the delightful Ash who was very attentive and the first person in 6 days of being in Spain to ask us how our meal was during! We asked for a spicy madras and told Ashu our requirements and the curry spice was spot on! Quality of starter was excellent! We had the mixed tikka to share which came sizzling to the table with the usual onions fried which we tasty too! Portion sizes are generous we chose one curry, rice, chips, side of saag aloo and keep nan. This was more than enough, side of saag was same size as curry so too much really but very tasty.

Our son who is 11 years asked for a bbq sauce based pizza with ham, pepperoni and chicken. This wasn't on the menu but not a problem, Ashu asked the chef who delivered this to the delight of our boy. It was a large pizza so he only ate half but Ashu let us take the other half with us to have tomorrow!

Quality and service is first class. If you live Indian food you won't be disappointed! Plus the bonus of Spanish and Italian if your in a party who don't like curry's!

Thanks again Ashu all the very best!
