Loved this place, in the middle of the central Tarifa. Surrounded by tourist traps with rude and uninterested waiters this restaurant is a breath of fresh air. High quality food, friendly waiters, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Stayed only one nigth. Booked and paid via booking.com. Everything work well. Quick check in, basic and clean room. Good size, also the bathroom. Choose this one, because the hotel is pet friendly. Reception gives the keys room and main door. Did not see the receptionist after the check in. A bit noisy, because the center location of old town Tarifa

we had a really great stay, we arrived to Tarifa late and looked for a double room. all the rooms we found was overpriced until we found this place

the design is sooo nice and "local" the room had two balconies and high ceiling. marina is great host very friendly and gave us some good local tips

Hotel is fine unless you turn in some kind of problem where management is terribly rude and liar. We had to sleep one night on the corridor after arriving to the hotel at 3:00am as door of the room won't open with keys. There was no one on hotel at night and emergency number was not answering until 6:15 am leaving us no option but to sleep on the corridor and then in the morning relocated to another room. Management did not reimburse any money or had any gesture for us. Thus we put a formal claim from which management reply was that we were responsible for damaging the door lock after arriving to hotel in a drunk state, bending door keys and forcing the door. I am really ofended by these comments as they are a complete lie.

Horrible experience! Rude lazy (british) waiter didnt know anything about the menu and gave us attitude when we asked about any dish. Waited over 20 mins to get service. E.g. what flavoring is the fish grilled with? I cant tell you our secret recipes (not as a joke). We said we were leaving and she said that would be better. Go to la pescadera instead! Better food and location!

Our family of 4 (2 college age kids and parents) booked this for 2 nights to bookend a day trip to Morocco. It was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. First, the air conditioner was broken. It was August and very hot and humid. Yet nobody seemed too concered about helping us get it fixed, management never came by or apologized, front desk said because it was a weekend it wouldn't even be looked at until Monday (after we would have left), we had to ask the front desk 3 times for a fan and when we did get one, it was small but so loud it sounded like a jackhammer, totally useless.

Second, the street noise was intolerable. We were on the first floor and could literally reach out and touch the street musicians outside our window. They were singing and playing instruments until the wee hours and the crowds were whooping it up until dawn. We couldn't keep the windows open because of the noise, but had no circulation whatsoever in our unairconditioned room, so nobody really slept. It was like trying to sleep IN a sauna/nightclub combo.

Third, the room did not have "a double bed and 2 twins" as advertised. It had, no exaggeration, 4 essentially army cots with inch thick "mattresses", 2 in the main room and 2 in a crawl space up a ladder (with no window and no air circulation).

Fourth, my daughter's bed had beach sand in it under the covers, so clearly the sheets had not been changed or the room properly cleaned. Disgusting. We cancelled our second night and booked a decent hotel an hour away and ran as fast as we could. A
