The hotel itself is well maintained and the staff are friendly. However, it was a hot day and we booked this hotel as it is advertised as having air conditioning. Unless you sleep in the reception, which is air conditioned, you will not find it anywhere else. The corridors are hot and the rooms even hotter. Having booked a hotel with 'air conditioning', as we entered the room, there was a note saying how hot the room can get and a small desk fan, which did a fab job of moving the hot air round the room. Barely slept a wink due to the heat. I have already complained, yet it is still advertised as having air conditioning.

Needed a dog friendly hotel at short notice and the call centre was able to book me into a dog friendly room which I could not do on-line for a small extra charge. A very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Did not use the Hungry Horse pub next door for dinner or breakfast as this is not dog friendly.
