Amazing stay at this hotel

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 30, 2024
What a warm hospitable welcome to this private hotel where nothing was too much bother. Jane and Taz (the owners) were attentive to our every need and breakfast was unbelievable. Choices of virtually anything one could wish for and plentiful too. The house which is spacious is well looked after, the room we occupied was spacious and clean and even the rooms' tea and coffee was complimented by an assortment of biscuits and chocolates. I don't think that I have ever experienced such warmth and pleasure over my many years of travel, as I experienced here, Thank you Jane and Tev and, I hope we have reason to stay with you again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grange Hotel.
Taz & Jane were brilliant hosts, very accommodating and friendly.
Good hearty breakfast which will set you up for the day.
We also had an evening meal when we arrived, very good selection
on the menu, which we much appreciated after a long drive.
We highly recommend the Grange Hotel, and definitely will be returning.

Room tip: Location of the Grange Hotel is in a very good location for exploring places. Plenty of on site parking.

Stayed here during the week when summer finally started in June. A laid back atmosphere in a lovely Edwardian building. My room was spotless and very quiet. Jane ran the place like clock work and always with a smile. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.

Location is a little out of town but no problem as there are a few local takeaways which your welcome to bring back and consume on the premises.

Not the normal type of hotel I would stay in but brought back memories from when my grandparents used to take me on English holidays when i was a little lad

I was one of the large SitFit party who had afternoon tea today. It was absolutely scrumptious and I was amazed at the quality and quantity of the food. My compliments to your chef, your scones and cakes were out of this world. The sandwiches were pretty good too!

Visiting friends in Kings Lynn. Great service, excellent breakfasts and lovely room with all that anyone would need. The hotel is very rustic and the outside could do with some TLC however Jane made us really welcome and we thougherly enjoined our stay.

Room tip: The location is not central but it suited us as we were visiting friends close by.

The Grange Hotel at Kings Lynn is a large period residence with plenty of parking.

The house is Edwardian, and the interior layout has probably changed very little since it was built. Decor is quite traditional with good quality beds and pillows. En-suite bathrooms are clean and functional. The place has lots of character, but you will not find any ‘glitz’! The bedroom hospitality tray is very generously stocked with drinks, chocolate and biscuits.

Accommodation is available as room only, with breakfast, or with an optional evening meal. The menu selection must be made earlier in the day.
Food is absolutely excellent. In addition to a normal breakfast grill, Jane will try to accommodate your preferences. Pancakes served with either bacon with maple syrup, or fresh fruit are amazing! The ingredients including the bacon are top quality, and on two mornings I enjoyed a simple bacon sandwich.

Portions can be quite generous, so if your appetite is less, you must let Jane know.

A selection of evening meals is available with starters, mains and deserts (all delicious). The photographs show some of our own meals before we started!

Jane and her husband are extremely accommodating, and every guest will feel as though they are being offered a warm and personal service.
