Excellent customer service at every level

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 4, 2024
My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel a couple of days ago. It has a wide range of facilities both indoors and outdoor with a beautiful garden and well kept open surrounding area. The hotel is very comfortable and well managed with customer service being at the heart from all members of staff. An example of this was shown following a fall my wife had in the morning that drew kind attention and help from the nearby staff. At dinner the hotel manager, Katherine, came to see us and asked how she was. My wife was fine but we were very pleased to see that continued level of care and attention. We would highly recommend this independent hotel and we look forward to returning there again when visiting this part of Norfolk.

Fabulous stay. Very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Excellent service from all staff. Room was spacious , clean and tastefully decorated. Evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. Lovely grounds and gardens. Only wish we were staying longer.

A very pleasant experience having Sunday lunch. All courses were lovely and the portion size was good. Value for money and lovely setting. Attentive staff, so much better than our previously afternoon tea experience. We'll done!

Loved this gem of a hotel. It’s beautifully quiet, has beautifully appointed grounds and beautifully attentive staff!

We were fortunate to stay in two cabins. They felt very luxurious and nothing was too much trouble. The requested newspaper arrived daily, the staff all smiled and there was no shortage of service. The manager, Katherine, leads a tight ship. She went out of her way to order in fillet steak for my teenage boys.

There is a good cocktail list and lots to do nearby. We had planned to visit the Sandringham estate, but it was unexpectedly closed. My disappointment has been eased by the knowledge we now have the perfect hotel to stay in. :-)

Thank you very much for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your orchard cabins. We always try to meet guests' special requests, if at all possible, and hope your sons enjoyed their steaks! We look forward to seeing you again.

We visited Congham Hall in Norfolk in March for my wife's birthday and we had no hesitation in choosing it to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary in July. We upgraded to a garden room and we were not disappointed. Superbly appointed and catered for all our means. The greeting card congratulating us was a wonderful touch but not the least bit surprising for this brilliant hotel
The weather was absolutely fantastic which meant we could enjoy the outdoor ambience for our luscious tea and scones and pre dinner drinks.
The evening meal and breakfast were top class as we expected but above all, the service from everyone made us feel we were the most important people at the hotel. Of course we fully exploited the incredible spa facilities including the hot tub. A perfect ending to our wonderful stay. When checking out, I spoke to the reception staff about the importance of people and of service and I promise you this wonderful hotel exhibits these attributes to the full.
One of our favourite places on the planet.

We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay at Congham Hall Hotel in July 2024.

The four of us had 2 cabins which were really nicely equipped and a very short walk from the main building. The design of the cabins is very good, with a spacious lounge area as well as an outside terrace that was covered, so you could still sit outside even if it was raining.

Service was faultless. There always seemed to be plenty of staff around and there are lots of cosy areas to sit within the main building. Ordering drinks was always easy and they arrived within minutes each time. All the staff were smiley and friendly and genuinely seemed to care.

The quality of breakfast was excellent - very nicely cooked with quality ingredients. Dinner in the restaurant was also superb with the hotel/chef even accommodating our request for fillet steak, even though it wasn't on the menu.

The hotel is in a good location with lots of things to do within a short drive. I found out towards the very end of our stay that the hotel also own the local pub, the The Three Horseshoes and next time we stay, we will definitely try that.

Thank you to all the team for taking such great care of us. You were all amazing.
