I booked 3 rooms for a 2 night stay with 2 other couples and was pleased we had rooms next to each other in the annex behind the Brewer's Fayre. We received a friendly welcome at the main reception though I forgot to ask for 2 keys, which would have been helpful. Delighted with our newly-refurbished room and the fantastic, sparkling clean shower with a rain head and hand-held head was the best in any hotel I've ever stayed in. The annex was very quiet and had a roomy car park, whilst the main car park opposite reception was very full at night, mostly with white vans since a lot of workmen passing by on the A17 obviously stop here. I would prefer a desk-type dressing table instead of the new design's narrow shelf and we found the new bedside tables too narrow. You can't reach the switch on the reading lights without sitting up and reaching out, which is a shame, but the shower makes up for any other design faults! The purple light alongside the normal white light in the bathroom amused us! We were able to walk into King's Lynn along the river bank, which was very pleasant once the first few hundred yards without a pavement were negotiated and this was a lovely way to enter the town for the first time. Highly recommended.

If I could give this a 0 I would. Rooms smelt damp showers unclean. On arrival to the hotel we had been lost for over 20 minutes because the post code is wrong and sends you down an industrial estate. The WiFi in the property is terrible. We had no sleep whatsoever The heat in the rooms was absolutely awful couldn’t breathe after going down to reception 5 times and asking to sort it and nothing was being done so we gave up, when we went down for breakfast we was told to sit anywhere in the restaurant and when we did it was like a problem the woman who was on shift seen us and was huffing and puffing slamming reserved on other empty tables even tho we booked this on the day we checked in. breakfast was cold and hardly anything left I was a bit shocked as we had breakfast booked for 8:40.
My partner had some bacon but couldn’t eat it as it was still near enough raw.
£140 spent on a room for one night and what a absolute joke it was.
I’ve never had such a bad experience at a hotel.
Avoid at all cost.
