We came across Mill Valley when looking for somewhere to spend our first wedding anniversary weekend. We stayed in The Pixie yurt and it was just perfect; beautifully made, quiet, rustic with a cosy log fire and a great playground for the dog! Lisa and Neil are fantastic hosts who make you feel at home. We will definitely be returning for another stay!

Myself, partner and dog stayed at Mill Valley in September 2017. It was perfect, just what we had been looking for. Lisa and Neil were lovely people and very helpful, the yurt was amazing, full of character, rustic and comfortable.
This place has everything you need and all done eco friendly, allowing you to completely escape from the modern, chaotic life :-).
We will definitely be back! Thanks again for such a lovely experience.

Stayed in the hand built log cabin. Was very cosy with wood burner and bedroom on mezzanine level. Lisa and Neil were very friendly and accommodating and knowledgable of the local area. Great place for dogs and walking and for getting away from the hustle and bustle of busy life. Will recommend to friends and family

Well what can we say, this is the second time we have been to Mill Valley and once again a fantastic experience. Lisa & Neil are some of the most friendly & accommodating hosts we have experienced. The accommodation is exactly as described and more, everything you need minus the WiFi. If you are looking for a back to nature experience Mill Valley is for you. Super dog friendly, and loads of excellent woodland and coastal walks close by, a fantastic place to up your BBQ skills by star light. Looking forward to our next visit.

Room tip: We stayed in Beech Tree Yurt which is insulated with lovely views.

Stayed here in the woodland cabin over the bank holiday and enjoyed the most spectacular thunderstorm on our first night. The cabin is lovely and cosy although we spent our evenings outside around the woodburner . We would love to come back in the winter. Neil and Lisa are so welcoming and friendly and we wish them well in their venture. We will return - not on a bank holiday and not via Bodmin though.
