A warm, cosy b&b with delicious full English breakfast and very comfortable bedrooms. The hosts friendly and knowing a lot about the neighbouring areas, ready to help and give touristic advice. A pleasant place to stay, worth recommending. A bathroom upstairs to share is big enough and very well equipped. The property has a convenient car park. All the beautiful places of interest are within a short drive - Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Land's End, St Michael's Mount, Restormel Castle. Just come and see for yourself.

Room tip: The top rooms are great for 4 people to spend time together, sharing a bathroom was not a problem, as everything needed was provided.

Room was quiet and clean with full-sized bathroom complete with everything you could possibly need and would find in a much more expensive hotel. Breakfast had some unusual options featuring sourdough and avocado which made a welcome change from more usual offerings. We used this to start a few days coast path walking and Debbie and Chris were very helpful with advice on parking/buses etc. Brookdale is in a good position for public transport with 15 min bus to Padstow and bus from Bodmin Parkway a few minutes walk away.

We had a fantastic few days visiting Cornwall which was made all the more special staying with Debbie and a Chris at Brookdale. The bnb is lovely. It is beautiful older building with character, with a modern interior and clean, fresh, homely feel. Debbie has made it all look gorgeous and we took back inspiration for our own homes!

The rooms surpassed our expectations and we had everything we needed and more. The breakfasts were also outstanding! Never thought I would get avo on toast in a Cornish bnb❤️

Debbie is also a really lovely person. Thank you for having us and we hope to come again in future!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was a pleasure having your family stay with us, you were lovely easy guests. I'ts nice to get a feedback on the B&B and to see that we are living up to our guests expectations. I like to give my guests a choice on the breakfast menu so they can have something different each day. The avocado dishes are a new choice and so far have been very popular. Hopefully we will see you back at Brookdale B&B in the near future.

Best wishes Debbie & Chris

This is a perfect place to stay if you wish to visit the north and the south coastlines of Cornwall; also the Eden Project is only 40 minutes away.
Debbie and Chris run this small bespoke B&B and are fantastic hosts, we were looked after extremely well, they both have a superb eye for detail and have an award winning breakfast which is excellent, and nothing is too much trouble.
The worst thing about it unfortunately is leaving; we would have loved to stay for a few more days.
We will defiantly come back again hopefully very soon.

Just returned from a 4 night break at Brookdale B&B, which was lovely. The B&B is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, water, biscuits and even fudge in the room. Chris and Debbie are perfect hosts, Chris was very helpful with directions and wine recommendations! The breakfasts were delicious with a variety of options. It is very well situated, only a couple of minutes walk from the town centre and the Camel Trail. We will definitely be returning.

Thank you for your lovely review. It was lovely to welcome you to Brookdale B&B, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and found everything you needed to make your stay with us comfortable and relaxing. It's just a pity you weren't able to find the red sparkling wine Chris recommended anywhere. Maybe next time when you are down. Hopefully you didn't get held up too long on Monday getting out of the festival grounds.

Hope to see you soon. Debbie & Chris
