I have stayed here a few times and each time found new things to do and places to explore come cornish rain or shine. The barns are quite simply stunning. At the end of a private lane (good directions in the instructions) they offer peace and calm and an abundance of wild life, including their own barn owls. However bustling Padstow is only a mile away across the fields or 5 mins by car and Trevone beach is a 10 minute walk in the other direction. The barns are well thought out and comfortable, with little extras like a hot shower to rinse sandy feet outside, racks for drying wet suits and a steel barn for the kids to play football or table tennis. This place is really really special and we are always very sad to leave - the sign of a great holiday I think.

If you enjoy perfect peace and quiet and great coastal walking, nothing could be better. And Padstow is a lovely walk away in Summer or Winter, great beer and food. The farm shop at the end of the track has everything you need including a great butchery.......

Great barn finished to a good standard. Worth knowing that when they say the barn's are remote, they're not kidding. It's a circa 15-20 minute walk to the beach or to Padstow (the nearest town). The barns are at the end of a very rickety track, I grew up in the country and these roads were special even by my standards, if you think cart track you're in the right ball park. That said, drive slowly and it's well worth it.

Amazing views, tranquil, and we heartily recommend Perin's Pantry for families with young children. If you can't eat out of an evening due to bed times you can get a very fine meal delivered to you, all you have to do is pop it in the Aga (we had the large barn and the Aga is something to behold).

Well worth a stop.

Oh one thing to remember, the barn has resident owls, and they make some strange noises about 1030, sounds like something being dragged round the loft. Don't have a heart attack like I did!
