We got a very last minute booking, checked in for one last night.
Everything was excellent, great service & attentive staff - special thanks to Jade for all her help & recommendations.
Our room was large, clean & beautifully designed - as you would expect.
We had everything we needed in the room & more.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant and again everything was spot on!
Thank you! & can’t wait to return

We had 2 ‘comfy’ rooms both on their ‘food lovers’ package - this gave us dinner in the Seafood Restaurant and b&b. The package also included a hamper of Rick Stein goodies for each room - a nice touch. It’s certainly not cheap but given the quality of the product: food, room and service etc it offered what we thought was very decent value.
Our room had aircon so the room temperature was perfect. Very comfy bed and spacious luxurious bathroom. My only gripe was that the room had high velour windows on which the blinds were electronically operated via a remote - despite having a similar setup in my kitchen at home we could only get one of the blinds to close which meant a very early wake up at sunrise as the light poured in. Yes, we could have called the front desk at 1am when the problem became apparent but we were tired (and it was dark then !). Anyway a niggle we could have done without....
Otherwise we loved the place - dinner was excellent, the price includes full access to the a la carte dinner menu (3 courses plus coffee) which cane as a pleasant surprise to our party of 4, as was breakfast. We will definitely return and hopefully for more than one night and would go for a room with parking and an outside sitting area.... go and treat yourselves - it’s lovely, as is Padstow itself.

We have stayed here many times as well as St Petrocs.

There is nothing to not like and it actually gets a little bit better each time. The dog gifts were always good but now include fish treats. The fixtures etc make each room unique and give it an ultimate boutique feel.

Parking is an issue but the concierge took me to the top carpark to collect everything we needed.

It is a bit expensive though. A week here is similar to a week at Sandals in Jamaica.

However, personally, I love it. As do my two dogs. It is the most dog friendly hotel as is all of Padstow.

The staff are amazing, thanks to Paul for running us up to the park and ride on the 2nd day.
We had a normal room the first night then had one of the rooms with a deck and balcony for the next two nights.
Our first room was lovely with a large bath and a small courtyard and had a queen size bed.
The next day we went our for the day and the lovely staff moved all our luggage to our new room.
Large deck overlooking the estuary which was lovely and we had a king bed which really comfortable and it was the best night sleep we have had on holidays.
Just a tip this room has a car park provided just up the road which is great as parking is a problem in Padstow.
Also the staff recognized us from 3 years ago and gave us a lovely welcome.
I have noticed some negative comments, it’s not perfect if you won’t to be picky but it’s not far off. My suggestion is this is the perfect place to enjoy Padstow and the rest of Cornwall.

Spent two nights in the St Breock room. Reception staff very friendly. Room was "comfy" would be easier to move around without the two arm chairs. Bathroom up some steep stairs which was awkward. The room while very clean and presentable was very warm. The fan provided didn't help to cool the room. Most of the heat was radiating from the bathroom. After reporting this to reception we were told this was from the steam free mirror however we shut this off on the first night and it didn't help. The water in the cold tap took a number of minutes to cool and the cupboard that housed the fridge and snacks was even warmer (bordering on hot). This made for two warm and uncomfortable nights (even with windows open ) despite the outside temp being very cool as well as the hotel hallway. I suspect this is a known issue for this particular room. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices. We were disappointed overall as were really looking forward to experiencing such a renowned hotel which didn't meet expectations.
