Had a wonderful short stay at Cally Croft, we are from London & stay in hotels all the time so it was so refreshing to stay somewhere peaceful, warm & welcoming. Dee and her husband were a pleasure to be around and nothing was any trouble. Congratulations on there 45 year marriage! Fran & Steve :)

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The B&B is absolutely spotless and clean. The owners were both lovely, and attentive to all our needs. Nothing was to much trouble, and advice on where to go, and what to do was plentiful if requested.
The B&B is situated a couple of minutes walk up the hill for Padstow. We didn't see this a problem. Parking was very easy, and thinking of peak season something you may struggle with in the main town?
£90.00 per night for the 2 of us was very reasonable, and with the lovely breakfast included we will definitely recommend anybody to visit.

I doubt whether you will find a better place to stay in Padstow for the price (£90 per night for a double). Located on a quiet cul-de-sac no more than 10 minutes' walk (downhill) to the harbour, your every need has been anticipated. A cream tea awaits new arrivals and, if you choose, over the next few days you can work your way through a jar of nuts, another of fudge, a small carafe of sherry, biscuits and chocolate mints. A small fridge holds fresh milk and chilled water whilst real coffee is provided in addition to the usual tray of assorted tea bags and instant drinks. Breakfasts are substantial, offer a wide range of choices and make much of local produce.

There is a good bathroom en-suite with a new, large shower cubicle. Local bath products, soft and large towels, bath robes and slippers are provided. In the bedroom, clock alarm, hairdryer, wall-mounted flat screen television, DVD player and ironing board cover every conceivable request. Perhaps because so many wishes have been anticipated the room is a bit cluttered. Personally, we don't spend much time in our room when on holiday so this was not a concern for us.

Dee and John are very attentive hosts with plenty of good advice on where to eat locally or tourist attractions a little further afield. We enjoyed our short stay at Cally Croft and will certainly book again on our next trip to Padstow.

A lovely, homely B+B located very conveniently a 10-minute walk from the centre of the village. The breakfast was excellent, cooked to order at our chosen time, and we were surprised by the Cornish cream tea with home-baked scones on arrival and the carafe of port in the room! I would highly recommend it.
