Very easy to find as you can see the spire quite a distance away but was very disappointed to find the church all locked up. Well the door at the front wasn't but opened up into a broom cupboard so we didn't venture inside. We did try all of the other doors.

We walked around the outside & it's not the most scenic of churches, if you look up high the windows have been bricked up probably by the Victorian's.

Not much in the way of grounds as it's right in the middle of the town but still a few old grave stones are standing.

This is a beautiful church. Right now they have a Christmas tree decorating contest. There are some very creative and lovely entries. The ladies that were in the church when I visited were very friendly and warm. If you are in the area, this is a nice place to visit.

I thought this was called the Blandford Perish Church. I checked and rechecked the location and it's the same place. The website even has Blandford Perish Church.

An 18th Century architectural gem, with beautifully restored Cupola and wonderful apse ceiling.

Quiet and contemplative atmosphere.

Tea and scrumptious cakes served by very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant volunteers.

I went on a tower tour in Heritage week. Firstly, the church interior is stunning! The detailed plasterwork ceilings and intricate coloured ceiling above alter, drew the eye instantly. The guide has a wealth of knowledge and, understandably, a passion for the building which makes the tour very interesting. This tour brings history into the now - I loved it! Thank you.
