“Gorgeous house, well furnished, but noisy church clock”
Reviewed June 3, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We loved this cottage, it was on a quiet road and we felt it was beautifully furnished. There was everything we wanted and the bed was comfy. Sadly I am a light sleeper and the church clock chiming every 15 minutes disturbed my sleep. As there was only 2 of us, we moved into the bottom part of the triple sleeper in the back bedroom where it was much quieter.
The area around has lots of interesting things to explore. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit out on the very sunny patio area at the front of the house, fantastic.
I wish I could have left a higher rating but the clock did affect our stay.

Thank-you for your review, we are glad you loved the cottage and you found it well furnished.
I'm sorry to hear the bells of the historic St Georges church disturbed your sleep. The church is part of the village and we have not made any attempt to disguise that it is there as it features in the property photographs.

“Cosy Retreat”
Reviewed March 14, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

One Springbank is a small but cosy house on the outskirts of Dursley.
We primarily chose this place as we have dogs and also as a base for exploring the area.
We found the property adequately equipped with comfortable beds and relatively quiet.
The back of the property opens up onto lovely countryside with good walks for your furry friends.
Affordable prices and good customer service.

“A lovely cottage”
Reviewed January 13, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

I booked OneSpringBank for my parents, they really enjoyed their stay in this well equipped and nicely decorated cottage. They especially liked watching the birds on the bird table in the garden. The only thing they disliked was that the toilet was downstairs (they are pensioners) but were delighted with everything else.

“Brilliant - Had an amazing time”
Reviewed November 30, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

This cottage is absolutly amazing, we had a wonderful time.
We woke to the church bells and children loved looking out the window at the sheep in the field behind the cottage.
We walked with all 4 of the children into Dursley took us about 30 minutes, it was a lovely walk.
We were lucky enough to be there when they turned the christmas lights on in Cam.
Will use again. Thank you so much.

“Lovely short break in a lovely little home”
Reviewed November 8, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Spent a few days in Cam with our young son. Perfect location - ideal for a wander (little one loved the climb up Cam Peak) or exploring this part of the Cotswolds. House was very clean and tidy, plenty of room, well equipped, warm and comfortable. Great 'secret' attraction nearby is the barge graveyard in Purton - worth seeking out. Have stayed in lots of holiday rentals and this was certainly one of the best.
