We stayed here for 10 nights in September with our 2 children (age 10 & 12) and could not have been happier with our choice. Cosy, characterful and well equipped accommodation; great location; friendly hosts. We highly recommend this as a great place to stay.
Perfect for our needs. Beautiful place, lovingly designed and decorated. Wine and muffins on arrival, great. Really helpful, friendly hosts, fabulous dogs and really loved shaming ourselves on the tennis court. Great to have use of pool and pool table too. Loved every minute of it. Thanks so much. :-)

From the lovely welcoming gifts of prosecco, homemade muffins and jam to the fresh flowers in every room, the REN products and the gorgeous White Company bedding the Coach House is just perfect! Beautifully and sensitively renovated by gracious hosts, it is an absolute delight and we all wanted to stay longer. Being there in spring, we used the wood-burning stove at night and sat out in the garden during the day. Great base for exploring but also lovely for just going for walks, cooking in and enjoying the quiet.
The Coach House proved to be the perfect cottage for our weekend break. Open plan downstairs was well equipped and very comfortable with under floor heating. The 2 large bedrooms were light and airy with wonderful views. The owners were attentive yet unobtrusive. Plenty of opportunity to walk in the grounds or explore nearby villages. Lovely!
We first went to the Coach House to celebrate our engagement. This was our second visit and this time for my birthday. It is a beautiful and tastefully decorated property - the owners have many old pieces of family furniture in the house which does make it feel like a home. The rooms are big but still cosy due to the under floor heating. We also made use of the log burner.
Bathrooms are exceptional too - bring the bubble bath for the huge bath in the main bathroom. His and hers robes are there for you. The sheets on the beds are lovely fresh cotton and the mattress topper keeps it lovely and soft.
The Coach House is in an excellent position which feels out of the way but not too remote to get about. Lacock is a 5-10mins drive and we went back to the Hunting Lodge for lunch. A quick drive up the road to Chippenham means you are a 10min train ride to Bath too.
On our last day we packed up the car and just walked through the surrounding woodland. Saw lots, of wildlife incl woodpeckers and deer.
I would probably describe this as a boutique holiday cottage if there is such a thing. The flowers and other little edible touches really make it worth spending that little extra.
