If you have a chance to stay here, you need to take it. Such a lovely place to stay or even just partake in the delightful delicacies. Charlie the owner/ manager was so welcoming. Could have stayed to chat with him for hours if he wasn't supposed to be there for everyone! The room (5) was perfect for us. If I had to pick up on anything it would be that there wasn't really anywhere to hang or store multiple clothes IF you were staying there for more than three days and (in room 5) the toilet roll holder is on the back of the door which you cannot reach when sat on loo (sorry meant to mention this whilst visiting!) but none of this deterred from our delightful stay.
Lovely open fire for those cold June days!! Board games available. Lovely garden. Crazy but polite and well behaved dog, Essa. Start throwing the ball for her and you'll never stop... you've been warned!! Food was fantabulous. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. New menu each day. Some dishes repeated but I see that as a good use of resources/ products, but if staying longer you may want to explore the area a bit for other places to eat to mix it up a bit. I would say that The Beckford Arms is more in tune for shorter stays. Short stays but multiple times through the year! And Charlie is opening another one in Frome at some point. Looking forward to visiting that one too. Well Done Beckford Arms team!!
