Great sized rooms, very clean great breakfast and always a great welcome. We have used this place for loopallu and will keep coming back as the other guest also have. The views from the front are beautiful. Choice of cereal and fruit to start then smoked haddock or cooked to follow which is very fulfilling, can't wait to come back next year

Room Tip: rooms 1 & 2 are balcony ones I think

I stayed at the Old Surgery during a Rabbie's Tour of the Highlands. My room was simply furnished but spotless, as was the nicely-remodeled bathroom. Both the owner and his daughter were very pleasant and welcoming, and the cooked-to-order breakfast was substantial and delicious.
Just a note that wifi is extremely slow in the entire town, if that's something that's important to you.
I would definitely stay at the Old Surgery again!
(FYI, it's also within easy walking distance of the restaurants in town.)

We stayed one night, room 1 fantastic views with a shared balcony. The room was stately and large, breakfast felt like we were in a restaurant having a menu to choose from. Wished we could stay longer.

Really wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was spacious, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom immaculate. Everything was lovely and clean. Breakfast was really tasty and it was lovely to have your order taken and back came a perfectly cooked breakfast. Location wise it was spot on. Close to a Tesco, close to almost all the eating places and right on the water. The views from the dining room are excellent and if you can get a front facing upstairs room their views are spectacular. Our host was lovely and friendly and made sure we were set for the evening. Would stay again anytime.

This vintage house had a spacious, clean and comfortable room with a view for us. Breakfast was excellent with efficient service. Only issue was low water pressure and with sporadic bursts of lukewarm water in the morning but everything worked well in the late evening.

Room Tip: Room overlooking the loch.
