Superb stop on a cycle touring adventure across Scotland. The scones are homemade by the man of the house and we a god send to power us over to the Isle of Iona. Great views from the garden in front of the cafe!

Smithy House is situated right opposite a beautiful Loch with stunning scenery. Carol and Peter immediately make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. There are no rules or regulations and you are made to feel at home, Carols cooking is excellent and she is happy to cook something you will enjoy so thanks for the sausage, chips and beans it was amazing. Hope to return one day.

We popped in on the off chance for a coffee and a slice of cake. Great welcome when we first arrived, home made cake was lovely. The place has a really relaxed homely feel about it, we will definitely visit again one day and stay in one of the lovely rooms!

We booked in advance and cycled over from Strontian. Carol and Peter were lovely and welcoming. Peter makes fantastic scones which we sampled with a lovely cup of tea sat overlooking the water watching the sun go down. Nothing stiff and starched like some places we've been, it was like having someone look after you in your own home.
