“Lovely place for a family holiday”
Reviewed 1 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This is one of a group of lovely cottages set in a beautiful location. Easy access to the beach and nearby castles. Kids will love the alpacas, ducks and pigs. Very friendly and easy going owner. We stayed with a large group which had several cottages and took advantage of the Rose Room as a social space. Celandine itself has a relatively small living room but it is comfy and is fine for one family. But some of the other cottages have a bit more space. One watch it is to bring your own towels. It seems a shame that towels can't be provided - we didn't have any and had to borrow off others.

“Another great stay”
Reviewed 22 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Great cottages in a lovely, peaceful location. We have stayed here a few times and always return which says a lot about a place. Friendly and helpful owners, nothing too much trouble.

“Beltane Weekend -Soul Quest 1--3 May 2015”
Reviewed 7 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

My 2nd Soul Quest, my 2nd visit this year and my 6th visit, since Gorslwyd has been under the tender loving care of Jen and Ali. At each return, whatever the season, I rejoice in the atmosphere and tranquility. I stayed in the newly 12 bedded cottage, which was very spacious and airy. Beautiful comfy beds, very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, magnificent conservatory with outside decking area.
The whole weekend was exceedingly well organised and the meals that Jenni prepared were fabulous !!
The beaches are awesome in this area and after scrambling up Mwnt, was blessed with spotting dolphins.
Every aspect at Gorslwyd continues to leave me breathless. The continuing growth and the beauty. Attention to making all available space wheelchair friendly. I love it !!

“Warm, welcoming and we'll run!”
Reviewed 11 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Myself & my family have just returned from a fantastic week staying in the newly completed Hedgerow Cottage. 10 of us had a lovely family holiday which was made perfect by the wonderful accommodation. Hedgerow sleeps 12 people all on 1 level but still feels spacious yet cosy at the same time. The layout of the bedrooms is excellent for 2 family's giving everyone their space. The warm welcome we received was lovely. My 3 children loved all the animals especially the Alpacas. The children were able to feed the Alpacas which was one of the highlights of their visit. The Paddock for our dog was a big us too. The grounds of Gorslwyd have been well thought out out with areas to hide away & enjoy some tranquility. The special walkway around the farm is lovely as is the playroom, summerhouse & the beautiful chapel. We will definitely be returning to this lovely part of the world & too Gorslwyd. Thank you for helping to make our stay so good.

“Lovely farm and friendly welcoming owners.”

Some friends and I booked Celendine cottage at Gorslwyd Farm for four days to see in the new year. We had a lovely time as did our two dogs! The cottage was well equipped for our needs with comfy beds, large bathroom area, a nice dining table to sit at for meals, nice and squishy sofas and best of all a delightful wood burner to keep us toasty warm. (The dogs particularly liked lazing about in front of this!) the cottage is basic but this was exactly what we wanted as we were out during the days exploring the beautiful coast line and countryside...and with the dogs in tow a 5* luxury acommodation would be wasted on us! The farm itself is beautiful :) I think it will be worth visiting again in the summer when the gardens will be at their best and most tranquil as being winter we weren't able to enjoy them in the wind and rain. There is also a generously sized exercise paddock for the dogs which they loved so this is definitely a great place to stay if you want to bring your dog. I also imagine this would be a fab place to bring children too as there are lots of places for them to explore and keep busy in such as the games room (which also kept us adults busy) and the animals (alpacas, ducks, doves and the beautiful farm cat). Overall we were very pleased that we found Gorslwyd and wouldn't hesitate to visit again, it is a gorgeous area of wales. Thank you :)

“Half term holiday dream venue”
Reviewed 7 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Rented Briar and Bream cottages for 10 of us and dog for first part of half term. Accommodation was excellent, exactly what we needed. The farm is so peaceful and beautifully set out with lots to see. The kids playroom was a great place for the kids to retreat to after dinner and the Alpacas, ducks and doves kept us all entertained. Only 2km from the sea it was a perfect location to visit Aberporth, cardigan island and tresaith all beautiful beaches and fantastic locations for wildlife including seals. Loved our stay. Jen and Ali were great hosts, great environmentalists and very inspirational. Will be doing the toilet twinning too (:

“Perfect base to explore the coast”
Reviewed 28 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Loved our stay here. The owners were friendly and helpful and provided a welcoming and clean cottage.
The kids loved the alpacas and exploring around the grounds.
We particularly liked the simple things like the provision of a new washing up sponge and some washing up liquid. Little touches go a long way.
We also appreciated the ethos and the way the farm is being run.

There are so many amazing beaches nearby and the landscape is rugged and unspoilt. It feels like a hidden gem.
We will be returning!
