If you want a gorgeous curry then the saffron ticks all the boxes weve had a chicken madras chicken jalfrezi chicken pathia and byriani with pilau rice chips naan and chutney tray from here and we wasnt disappointed! Everything was full of flavour and simply mouth watering!

We arrived at Barmouth late in the evening and this was the only place that took us in for dinner. My husband is not a fan of indian food, although he liked Saffron’s.

Considering this is a little town that only relies on summer tourism, we can’t expect to find restaurants with trained personnel.

So, taking everything into account, we can rate our experience there 4,5/5.

Top quality food, very tasty. Been three times and will go back. Good choice on the menu and they accommodate gluten free too.

Great if you really want a curry as there’s not anything else in Barmouth however it’s a bit average really and service, particularly on drinks, was slow.

Visit Barmouth regularly. Decided to have an Indian as it was a Fri (or may have been Sat). Rang for a table to be told close 9-9.30pm. My small home town - all open midnight so decided we would order takeaway for collection (if we were quick they said). Arrived on time, waited another 20 min. Told us they had run out of chips and had to wait by a table of 8 where the girl was being really loud and the staff were having bit of an argument about the running out of food. Unprofessional and a disappointment. Struggle to find a decent Indian or Chinese I'm Barmouth. Would rate 1 but have given 2 as the staff member said apologies for no chips.
